Selena:
Lola is missing. I don't believe it. This can't be happening. Not now. Not when I've just gone into labor. I need her here to help me through this. I need her strength. I need her to be safe. "Find her. You have to save her. She's my best friend!" I yell, tears forming in my eyes. I don't know who in the world would want to kidnap Lola. She can be bitchy at times, but she's got a big heart and means well. Oh, God, I just want her to be okay. "Phil, you have to go save her," I beg. "Are you sure?" he asks, worriedly. I don't even care that I'm in labor. I just want Lola to be found, and brought back safely. "Yes," I cry, tears running down my face now. I hope I'm in labor long enough for Phil to get back with Lola. I need him here with me, but Lola needs to be found way worse than I need him. After some more prodding, he goes with Dan.
Dan:
Lola is gone! The love of my life and the mother of my unborn baby are nowhere to be found. Phil and I leave Jenna's house in search of her, moving desperately quickly. I'm grateful that Phil came with me. "Let's split up," I suggest, "we can maybe find her faster," I say. He nods agreement and we split up.
The first place I go is our normal hunting grounds. I walk down the dark and narrow alleyways. Everything is quiet. I turn down the alley where Lola found her first victim, and I can't help but smile at the memory. We were so happy together. We had everything ahead of us. But now I can't find her anywhere.
After an hour of searching, I call Phil. I know he hasn't found her either, because he would have called me immediately if he had found even a trace. "Let's head back and check on Selena," I say glumly. "Okay, I'll meet you at Jenna's," Phil agrees, hanging up. I walk back to Jenna's, lost in my own sad thoughts. I miss Lola so much. I just want to know where she is. Where our baby is.
I open the door to Jenna's house and let myself in. Phil isn't here yet. "Jenna, Sel?" I call out, wondering where the two women are. A shriek from Selena answers me, and I follow the sound into the other room. Selena looks like she's in tremendous pain, her face twisted and her body sweaty.
She looks up behind me and I know automatically that Phil is here now. He must have entered as Sel screamed, so I didn't hear him. "I said find her!" Selena hisses at him, "how hard is that, fuckface?" The door closes behind Phil as he moves into the room, giving his girlfriend a sad smile. "Come here, I need you," she murmurs, her face softening as she looks up at him. My best friend walks over to Selena and takes her hand immediately, kissing her forehead and soothing back her hair.
I look away, my heart twisting in fear for Lola. "Call Isaac for help," Phil suggest, just as Selena lets out another pain-filled groan. I pull out my phone and dial Isaac's number. He answers nearly immediately. "I need help. Someone kidnapped Lola," I tell him before he can say anything. "I'll be there shortly. Where are you?" he asks. "Jenna's house. Selena went into labor and Lola went to feed before she came over and she must have gotten kidnapped," I inform him. I'm starting to panic as he barks out a short, "okay," before hanging up.
Nearly a minute later, Isaac is standing in front of me. "Let's go save Lola," he says, pulling me out of the house.
