Selena:

"Ask away," Jenna tells me. I'm not entirely sure where to start. I take a deep breath. "Why do I already have a baby bump?" I demand, sounding a lot angrier than I meant to. Sure, it could be a lot worse, but pregnancy usually isn't this fast. Besides, I really hate being pregnant. I never wanted kids. "Your baby is developing quicker than a human child would. This is due to the fact that neither the mother or the father," she gestures to Phil here, "are human, and also that at the time of conception the drugs that gave you your powers were still lingering in your system. Each day of pregnancy for you is what two weeks is for a human," Jenna explains.

"Seriously?" Phil asks. She nods. "Yes. This is a serious matter." I, meanwhile, am forcing myself not to panic. In a few days, I'll give birth. I'm not ready for this, although, to be honest, I don't think I'll ever be ready. "So, I'll be giving birth really soon?" I ask, to confirm. "Yes, Selena," Jenna tells me. Automatically, Phil pulls me against his side.

Lola:

I lie in my bed with Dan, a smile on my face. It's time for me to start getting ready, so, slowly, I roll out of the bed. "I don't have much time left, Dan," I say, stretching. His fingers curl around my wrist. "Don't leave me," he begs, giving me those puppy-dog eyes of his. I'm almost tempted to stay, but gently I pull away. "I have to go meet Selena," I remind him. Grumbling, he lets go and sits up as I start to get ready. Walking over to the closet, I examine my wardrobe before deciding on a pair of dark boot cut jeans, paired with a black flowered top with flowing sleeves, and my favorite pair of boots.

I walk into the bathroom and pull on my clothes, brushing out my hair and applying some light makeup. Grabbing my bag, I head towards the door. "I'm going to meet Selena now, I'll see you later, love," I call over my shoulder. "Bye, Lola, I love you," he calls back to me. With that, I'm out the door and heading to the car. The drive to Nando's is short, and before I know it I'm circling the parking lot, scanning for Selena's car. It's parked up front and I manage to find another spot two cars down and climb out.

Inside, it's just cool enough to feel good, and I can smell everything with my enhanced senses. Mostly, it makes my mouth water. Searching the room for the door, I see Selena near a window, waving at me frantically to get my attention. I join her, sliding into my seat with ease. I'm much more graceful as a vampire than I ever was as a human. "Hey!" I say excitedly, a smile on my face. "Hey," she replied, a grin lighting up her features, "I have so much to tell you." She sounds half excited, and half nervous, but then, I don't blame her. "Tell me all about what you learned today," I say, leaning forward slightly, "what did Jenna tell you?"

"I'm not sure where to start," she admits. "The beginning, of course," I say with a smile.

Sorry that it took me forever to update! It is short, but I felt that that would be a good ending. It is kind of a cliff hanger. Thanks to all the people who have read this and who will continue to read this. Love you guys!!

A/N: Ariella here! I just wanted to say that, while the work is entirely Aspen's, I do edit it. Really, I'm just a fan of this story. I mean, it's one of my favourites, and I am, as always, thrilled that I get to do the editing. I would also like to take a moment to thank all of you for reading and for (hopefully) continuing to read. Not just this, but all of our stories. I am forever grateful!
