Selena:

I don't know how my baby is, and I'm worried. I'm not even sure what my baby's going to be. It's developing way quicker than it should be for a normal human baby. I'm not exactly human, but still. "Phil, we need to talk to Jenna. She might know what's going on," I say suddenly, looking up at him. He nods and moves over to me, wrapping his arm my shoulders. I lean against him. "Let's go, then," he replies, leaning forward and kissing the top of my head.

Lola:

I wake up after a long night, feeling completely exhausted. A smile forms on my face the moment my eyes open. The past few days, I couldn't stop smiling. I love Dan so much. I'm glad I've got forever with him. What else could I want, besides the baby growing inside of me? I rub my hand over my stomach, although it's still the same as it's always been.

I wonder how Selena's doing, and how her baby is. Worrying vaguely, I get out of bed and trot to the phone in the living room. I don't even have to dial her number, I've got her on speed dial. After the first couple of rings she picks up. "Good morning, Sel," I pipe, "how are you?"

"TERRIBLE," she screams hysterically. "Why?" I ask, forcing myself to stay calm. "I woke up with a fucking baby bump," she says, sounding like she was on the verge of tears. I almost feel like laughing because she's so upset over something so trivial. "Honey, don't worry about. It's something every pregnant woman has to deal with," I reason. She takes a deep breath, trying to force herself to calm down. It usually works with Sel. "I know. It's just so soon...and it literally happened overnight. It's kinda scary," she tells me, sounding defeated.

"You're right," I agree, "I'm afraid of this entire experience," I tell her. "Pregnancy's scary," she states. "You couldn't be more right," I agree. "Anyways, how about we have a girl's day out today? We can get go shopping, get you some new clothes. Maybe even something sexy for you to wear for Phil," I suggest.

I can almost hear the grin in her voice. "Sounds great! I've got a meeting with Jenna soon, but afterwards we can go out to eat and shop," she says, sounding vaguely excited. "Damn witch, stealing my best friend from me," I say with mock anger. She laughs. "Let's meet at Nando's for a late lunch, the shop," she suggest. "It's settled," I say, then hang up with a smile on my face.

"Did you have a nice conversation?" Dan asks, suddenly behind me. I'm so startled that I jump a little., turning around to look at him. "Yes, I did. I was talking to Selena. We're going out for lunch and then going shopping," I say. "What time are you meeting her?" Dan inquires. "Two," I tell him. "That means we only have three hours before you leave me," he pouts. "What are you going to do with those three hours?" I ask suggestively. He smirks and I feel a warmth in my core. "Come and see," he orders seductively.

Selena:

When Lola called, I was in my car. Phil was driving, having deemed me too emotionally unstable to drive. We were on our way to see Jenna, and I must admit, I was already feeling better after my conversation with Lola. "How's Lola doing?" Phil asks, although he could read my mind and find out. I'm thankful he's trying to give me some privacy. "Great! We're going out to lunch later, than shopping " I say with a smile. The shirt I'm wear is Phil's, because most of mine were tighter they only accentuated the baby bump. Phil's shirt, at least, hid it.

I'm excited to go out for a girl's day with Lola, no matter how often I see her. We haven't gone out in a while. "That's good," Phil says, smiling, "I'm glad you're going out with her. You'll have fun." I smile.

"I hope Jenna has some answers," I say, bringing us back to the present. "Me too," he agrees as we pull up in front of the house. Jenna had texted me the address, and I love the house immensely. It's in a rural area, and it's a quaint little house, with a dark wooden door that I think may be mahogany. The front porch has a plastic table and a few plastic patio chairs. It's a beautiful area.

I take Phil's hand as we walk through the door. My hands are trembling, and I'm afraid. I'm afraid that there's something wrong with me, or my baby. I take a deep breath and raise my free hand to knock on the door. After a few seconds the door opens and Jenna's standing in front of me. "Hello," she greets us. "Hi," I say, swallowing nervously. "I have some very important questions," I tell her as she motions is to come inside. I grip Phil's hand tighter.
