My team was invited into an exhibition game in Iloilo tomorrow. I was packing my things when my phone beep. Tiningnan ko it was a facetime request from the babe.

Facetime Request from Babe

I grab my phone and accepted the request. And a beautiful lady was projected on the screen wearing her usual PJ's and oversized shirt, which is my shirt. She really looks more beautiful kung suot niya damit ko.

"Manong, whats with the face?" tanong ni Miks. Trying to figure out whats in my mind.

"Wala naman babe, you look good in that shirt"

"Kaya naman pala" she giggled.

"Mamimiss po kita" I pouted

"I'll miss you too, be back agad ah" nagpapalambing to.

"Sama ka na lang kaya babe? Para hindi mo ko mamiss"

"No nga kasi, diba I have trainings pa and Im preparing pa po for our wedding"

"Okay, you win po."

"Manong, umayos ka dun. Alam mo na, marami akong keneksyen" sabi niya habang tawa nang tawa.

"Babe naman, Im a goodboy kaya" with a convincing tone. And alam kong antok na to kasi she keeps yawning.

"Sleep ka na BBQ, alam kong antok ka na po. You'll have trainings pa tomorrow"

" *yawns* okie! Goodnight Manong. I love you po. Dream of me" she answered why lying down to her bed.

"Goodnight BBQ, love you. Dream of me din" sabi ko. Then I hung up the phone na. I need to take a rest na din kasi maaga pa kami bukas. Then sa hapon, exhibition game na. So, we need to prepare.

- Next Day -

My plane just landed and we are waiting for our baggage when I check my phone and pinipigilan ko lang ang tawa ko. A text from the Babe

Manong, let me remind you. Be a goodboy ha! Alam mo na. Love you. Im off to my training na po. Text me when youre done with yours. Flying a kiss from taft to city of love.

"Mukhang inspired yung isa dyan" Thirdy commented.

"Che! Mind your own lovelife Thirdy"

Kakatapos lang nang training ko. And Kiefer texted me na theyre on their way to the venue na. So, I decided to go with my team. Eating out with them is a rare moment.

"Miks, ma iba nga. Kailan ba ang kasal?" Ate Mich asked with a teasing voice.

I giggled. A gesture of excitement "umm. May 15 ate"

"Oh! Lapit na. 3 months na lang. How was the preparations" si ate Wensh naman ang nagtanong.

"Maraming kailangang gawin ate. From legal works then preparations to the church, tapos the entourage, and the reception, damit and everything. Kaka stress pero enjoy." I beamed.

"Iba talaga pag inlove, and pag ikakasal"

We spent almost an hour and a half. And alam kong tapos na ang exhibition game niya. So I texted him.

To: BBQ

Bebe?

I got no reply after 10 minutes. So I texted him again

To: BBQ

Bebe?

Again, no reply from the bae. So I flooded him with the same message.

My game just ended and we gave time to the fans to give a photo op. After, we headed to the dug out and a dinner was prepared for the team. Then, some fans who got VIP tickets were given a chance to mingle with the players. And habang kumakain ako, and I just remembered na hindi ko pa tinitext si Miks. So I hurriedly got my phone from my bag. Shoot! Dami nang text and all came from the babe

I got 8 similar messages from her. And nag reply ako agad

To: BBQ ( insert blue and green heart emoji here)

Hi babe. Sorry I wasn't able to text you agad. I was eating dinner kasi.

Minutes passed and she replied.

Siguro may iba ka na dyan. Hmp. Insert sad face here.

To: BBQ

Of course not, my eyes are only for you babe.

I miss you more my forever.

I really missed her, excited na akong umuwi tomorrow. Ngayon lang talaga akong excited umuwi because noon, Im always having a heavy heart leaving my hometown.
