Its been days since nalaman namin na Mika is pregnant and lahat nang symptoms are out little by little. Her morning sickeness is getting worse day by day. Kung sana ako nalang ang maglihi for her.

"Dy! Dy!" Mika is calling me from upstairs.

"Yes my? May masakit?"

"No naman po" she said while tapping the space behind her bed. Alam ko na to.

"Dy" she nuzzling her cheeks to mine while pinching my nose. Newly developed manners. My Mrs.Ravena Buntis.

"Yes my?" I faced her then smiled.

"Dy, I wan to eat melon and guyabano po" and her cravings are getting weirder each day past. Nako, mapapasubo ako nito. But I love my wife that much, I'll do everything for her.

"Aye! Captain. Melon and Guyabano coming up" I stood up from our bed approaching the doorstep but Mika butted in.

"Dy, where are you going ba?" She asked.

"Bibili po nang Melon at Guyabano ninyo ni baby"

"Iiwan mo ako?" tears are forming from her eyes. My no so little baby are so emotional to the nth level.

"Andito naman si Manang Plo mommy" I try to ease her sadness.

"Yoko! Sama ako plith" she begged.

"Mommy, baka mabinat ka. Kalalabas mo palang eh. Diba sabi nga ni Dr.Alba we need to be careful, delikado ang pagbubuntis mo" I tried to explain.

"Ravena! Hindi ako baldado para hindi makatayo at makasama sayo. Hindi mo na ako mahal! Baka maghahanap ka nang iba kasi I'll be getting fat na! Tapos lalaki na my tummy! My cheeks are getting round na!" Sabi niya while tears keep falling. Hala! Lagot na. I was approaching her when she stopped me.

"Labas! Ayaw kitang makita"

"But babe"

"Labas nga sabi eh! I don't want to see your face!" Then she entered our walk in closet and slammed the door.

I went downstairs na din and naliwaliw. Palalamigin ko muna yung ulo niya. Its her hormones that making her too emotional. Wala akong magawa. Sabi nga ni Thirdy "panindigan mo yan! Binuntis mo eh"

Hours passed nung lumabas si Miks from our room and I can see her swollen eyes, mukhang iyak nang iyak. Sorry babe. I followed her while she's making her way to the kitchen.

"Babe" I called.

"Don't talk to me" she said.

"Babe naman, sorry"

She faced me, then hugged me tight" I have now my baby damulag and my little baby"

"Stop crying na, shhh. Papangit si baby niyan eh"

Hinampas niya ako. Then I kissed her forehead.

"Dy, where's my melon and guyabano po?" She asked.

"Ah! Shoot! Naiwan sa kotse, wait I'll get in muna. I asked Manang to go sa market kanina to buy some fruits"

"Okay po" she said while drinking her lemon water.

"Just sit there baby, relax. 5 minutes"

Mika

I know nahihirapan din si Kiefer sa sitwasyon namin ngayon. Sometimes I'll have my midnight cravings, then early in the morning, I'll experience my morning sickness, and my unusual taste buds are bothering me in the middle of the day.

I loved how my husband is taking care of me. Im like a glass so fragile, and item so vunerable.

"My, here na your Melon and Guyabano" he said habang nilalapag sa center table namin sa living room.

"Thank You Daddy! Baby here's our foodie na" I said while caressing my tummy.

He then leaned down to my tummy and kissed it.

"Baby, I can't wait to see you. Be good there. Huwag mong pahirapan si Mommy ah"

"I stroked her hair while he was talking to our neonate.

I am munching with my melon and guyabano but the taste couldn't get any better. So tatayo sana ako to get some toyo mixed with ketchup. Nung napatayo si Kief, his head was on my lap kasi.

"My, san ka punta?" He asked.

"Kukuha sana ako nang toyo and ketchup eh. E sasawsaw ko dito"

His faced can't be drawn nanaman, e sa yan ang gusto ko eh.

"Ako na my. Wait ka lang diyan"

He walked towards our kitchen. I am much thankful to God that he gave me such a patient man, a loving one, the most caring of all, and the God-fearing type. And I'll make sure to be a better wife each day, and the best mother I can be to our bundle of joy.
