I don't know what's with my wife nowadays. Sprak to the nth level na. Minsan hot tempered, minsan malambing. Almost three weeks na siyang ganito after we came back from our trip, Concepcion is the place. Napapaisip na rin ako na baka andyan si monthly visitor pero imposible naman tatlong linggo. Haba naman nun.

"Ravena! Urrgh" uratskie naman! Ang himbing nang tulog ko tpos biglang sisigaw my babe.

Bumaba ako nagmamadali dahil baka lilipad na ang lahat nang gamit namin dito sa bahay.

"Oh,babe? Anong problema?" Kinukuskus ko pa ang mga mata ko. While umupo sa sofa in our living room.

"Babe" nagpapababy naman ang baby ko. She sat on my lap tapos embrace mem then kiss my neck.

"Hmm" I kissed her temple

"Babe, kasi... ummm, I want to eat ung cream horn po. Please, bili ka" nako po! Eto nanaman kami. Minsan napaisip ako na nagbungga na ang honeymoon part 2 namin sa isla.

"Yun lang naman pala e, I'll drop by later sa Katips" I hugged her tight. Pero bigla siyang kumalas sa pagkayakap.

"I don't want the cream horn sa katips babe, masyadong matamis" nag isip nalang ako another place where to buy that cream horns.

"Aha! My kilala si mama babe, homemade un, masarap, wait, I'll call mama na mag order" tatayo na sana ako pero ayaw niya.

"Ayaw ko nun, gusto ko ung dinala natin sa isla. Masarap un babe, gusto ko nun" she's making paawa. Naknamputs! E sa iloilo lang naman mayroon na store eh. Eto nanaman kami. Malaking problema. Akala ko nalampasan ko na to, hindi pa pala. At ang mahirap, wala malang sa pamilya ko na nasa iloilo. Patay. Mukhang imposible. I'll tell her the truth nalang.

"Babe kasi, wla niyan dito eh. Doon lang yon, tsaka promise masarap"

Pero bigla nalang siyang tumayo. And tears keep falling from her eyes. Lagot.

"Di mo na ako love!" Stompping her feet tapos covering her eyes.

"Hindi mo na ako love! Sabi ko na eh!" She made her way up sa room namin nang padabog.

"Baby, that's not what I meant" sinundan ko siya sa taas

"Break na tayo!" Huh? Break na daw kami. Nakalimot ata my baby damulag na kasal kami,

"Baby, kasal na tayo po, please, sorry na. Di yun ang ibig kong sabihin" I entered the room only to find out, nag iimpake na siya nang mga gamit niya. Lagot.

"Babe, please, sorry, sorry" I baghugged her, tapos she keeps sniffing. Awww. Baby pa talaga my baby damulag.

"Baby" I pulled her slowly, umupo ako sa corner nang bed, tapos, pinupo ko siya sa Lap ko

"Stop crying na po, I love you, Di totoo na hindi ko ikaw love" Pero she keeps on crying pa din.

"Remember our vows when we had our first trip together sa Concepcion?" I asked her

Flashback

We are here in Iloilo, Concepcion specifically, after our exhibition game at the city itself we all headed our way to Concepcion almost two hours from the city proper. Then we need to ride a pumpboat para makapunta sa next island. An hour boat ride from the mainland. Passed 9 na siguro kami nakarating, long trip it is.

We ate and yung iba umiinom since its also the birthday of one of our team mates.

" Babe" Kief whispered to mem habang nagkakasayahan ang lahat

"Hmm"

"Labas tayo please, I'll show you something"

"Baka magtaka sila babe"

"Di yan, di naman siguro nila manonotice"

He hold my hands tapos lumabas na kami. Pero may nakakita ata. Ops.

"Saan kayo pupunta Miefer? Tita oh" that was Kim. Nagsumbong pa talaga.

Tita just smiled. Mukhang alam niya na. Tinutukso nila kami, pero hinayaan na namin. We are here at the beach front. The sounds of nature is so pleasing and relaxing. Umupo kami ni Kief sa buhangin, and mukha akong bata na naglalaro.

"Babe?" Kief calling my attention

"Hmm"

"I love you"

I looked at his direction and he's looking down. Parang naiinis dahil my attention is on playing the sand.

"Awww! I love you more hubby ko" then side hug ko siya. Alam ko manong, kinikilig ka. He looked my way with a questioning eyes.

"Bat Hubby babe? Hindi na ba bbq?" Tanong niya.

"Ayaw mo? Magiging hubby din naman kita in the future, pinapractice ko lang" I giggled.

"Eehh. Wifey, kinikilig ako" kahit madilim alam ko nag blu blushed siya.

Tumayo ako, and run. Parang ibon na nakalaya sa kulungan. I don't have any worries kasi alam ko I can be Mika and he can Kiefer , the simple us . For tonight until tomorrow.

"Wifey, lika. Punta tayo dun" he pointed at the small hill.

"Hubby, madilim na. Baka hanapin tayo nila Tita Mozzy"

"Di yan, ako bahala"

Umakyat kami sa taas, hindi naman pala madilim because the moon serves to light our path. Nang makarating kami, the view was breath taking. The water waves, the twinkling stars, the chirping of the birds, more than a romantic scene. Kief held my hand, we faced each other.

"Babe, let's make a vow here" sabi niya.

Hindi na niya hinintay yung sagot ko. He immediately said his vows.

"Babe, you came at the moment when I was at my lowest. When I felt like no one loves me except my family. You bring out the best of Kiefer Isaac Ravena, the man away from the limelights of the four corners of a basketball court. I cried for his words, hindi ko alam na seryoso pala siya. So, ako naman ngayon,

"Kiefer, you brought joy to my simple world. Hindi ko naman akalain na darating ka sa buhay ko. You thought me things I can't learn in school, but through experience lang. Thank you sa lahat. For the patience kahit palagi kitang inaaway. Whenever Im sprak. And btw, sorry for that. Hehe. But, seriously, sabi nila forever doesn't exist, but they are wrong. For me, forever do exist kung ikaw ang makakasama ko sa forever na yon. I can't wait to be your wife, in the future, the father of my children, and my partner in life, in crime, in joys and cries. I love you more than you can imagine. Kahit vow lang to, these stars present here, e count mo na lang, or gaano kalawak ang skies, yan ang pagmamahal ko sayo. I love you

Eyes locked, then we sealed our vows with a kiss.
