Recap:

Jk nod towards them before slinging his hands casually over my shoulder but I kindly move away. Not because I didn't want Mike to misunderstand but because I am not use to these kind of things. Even when Mike was my boyfriend, I hesitated alot to show my affections.

"You are really different, you know that?" Jk chuckled as we head off the other direction.

Jk's phone vibrates non-stop so I got annoyed and ask him if he's getting that phone call.

He quickly answered, "Oh Mike. What's up?"

"Nah. Gotta head for tuition. I can meet you in the evening though. Okay okay. See ya." He hang up and looked at my reaction.

"You don't have to worry. He is your friend before you even be my friend." I said.

"He was asking though if I'm still with you."

"Why would he care?" I huff.

"He really likes you as far as I know. I really had no idea what's going on with him and Faith though." He tried explaining but I cut him off.

"Let's not talk about him."

"Sure. Hey. Wanna get ice cream? My treat." He makes an interesting offer I couldn't refuse.

"Let's go." I smiled.

"Skylar.. don't hesitate to talk to me should you need someone to rant to." He said as we reached outside my house.

I nod my head.

"Thank you Jk. You are a good friend." I said.

"Sure..." He answered softly before waving and telling me, "I'll see you tomorrow okay!"

I waved back as he turned one last time.

My house phone rang just as I was about to enter home.

I dashed in and answered within a few rings.

"Hello?"

"Is Jk still with you?" His voice rang.

"No. He left." I simply answered.

"Ohh. Are you guys?.." I hang up halfway.

I don't have to answer more.

The phone rang again but I ignored and went to hit the cold shower.

When I am done with homework, I was gonna blog when I received a friend request on MySpace. I clicked open to see Mike's profile. I click declined and went ahead to blog my unhappiness. That's when the door opened revealing mum, and my two cousin brother. One is older than me the other is the same age.

"Hey baby sister. How are you?" Matthias asked me. He is the oldest among us three.

"Hey brother!!" I ran over to hug him and I almost hugged Edison too.

"Hi."I said awkwardly and he smiled.

I used to have a major crush on him.

Boy, he is still so attractive as he was when we were eight?

Now we are thirteen.

"Shall we hang out later?" Matthias asked us and we just nod our head.

"They will sleepover for a week or so. Since I have to work overtime. I figured it would be good to have your cousin's over to accompany you." Mum explained.

"Ohhh." I answered before turning back to my laptop as the both of them unpack their belongings.

"Honey. I gotta get back to work. Here's some cash for you to order food." Mum kissed me before leaving.

"Shall we cook ramen?" Matthias asked that evening.

"Sure. But I don't think we have stocks." I answered.

"Who's going?" He asked with a devilish grin and we played rock paper scissors to see who lost.

As usual, I lost and I grumbled as I put on a hoodie before leaving.

"Sky!" I heard someone calling me when I'm reaching the shop.

I turned to see Mike and Jk having their dinner.

I groaned before walking over.

"Where you going?"Jk asked and I point to the shop next to the food centre.

"Ohh. You alone?" Mike asked next when I felt an arm slinging over my shoulder.

"Hey sorry I'm late." Ed appeared beside me and I looked at him confused but I decided to play along since Mike was already staring at him.

"Let's go? Don't want brother to ask why we are late right?" Ed added on and I nod my head, saying goodbye to the two dumbfounded boys.

"Thank you." I said as we went in the store and he shrugged.

"No biggie." He smiled and chose a drink.
