Recap:

"Will you go out with me now?" He asked flashing his bunny smile.

I could hear mutterings and whisperings. 

I could see Mike's intense face as he restlessly squirms in his seat.

"A deal is a deal." I said softly as I placed my hands on his. 

"I won't make you sad." He promised.

He grabbed my hands and we left the classroom as he waved bye to Chiqa.

Chiqa winked at me and she placed her thumbs up.

"Jk.. where are we going?" I asked and I couldn't help but to laugh.

"Let's go to this place that I came across while exploring one of the days!" He answered as he turned to me. His right side of the face shining as the sunlight shone on us.

Jk brought me to a small park nearby our school. Although I was whining cause he made me climb up the stairs uphill but when we reached the top, it was amazing.

I was amazed by the view and we could see everything from above.

"Wow.. I didn't know this place existed." I said.

"Now you do." He said slowly holding my hands.

"Jk.. why me?" I asked him out of curiosity.

"You are different. Like girls are all into popular guys. I mean who doesn't right? But they tried so hard while you are just being you and that's what I noticed about you first.." He explained.

Somehow I worried that this will affect his friendship with Mike.

"Don't worry about Mike. He will get over it soon." He said as though he could read my mind.

"What if he picks a fight with you?" I asked worried.

"Nah.. even if he does, then so be it. I'll fight him back if thats what he wants."

"Promise me you won't." I made him pinky promised and he chuckled.

"Let's get you home." He said and I nod my head walking with him.

Jk is a gentleman. He didn't even try to hold my hands and I am okay with it.

Liar. You are not over Mike yet. You wished it was Mike walking with you right now.

I hate it when my heart is right sometimes.

"Thank you Jk for sending me home." I said and he smiled.

"I will wait till you are ready." He said before heading off.

I wash up and complete my homework and sat at the sofa looking at my house phone before I slapped myself.

You broke up remember? What are you waiting for??

However, the phone rang.

I dashed across the room and answered.

"Honey! You want anything? I'm on my way home." Mum's chirpy voice greets me.

"No thanks mum." I said.

"Okay. See you soon baby. I love you darling." She said before hanging up.

That's when I heard some familiar voices outside my house and I looked out the window.

Mike and Ethan with a few other guys skateboarding at the carpark behind.

He looked up and scan the area as if he felt someone looking and I quickly squat and hide.
