Snape's Soft Spot.

Chapter 44

(Samie's POV)

"Get me something back alright?"

"Sure, S." D replied

"Don't worry Samie, we'll make sure Draco won't forget," Blaise said

"You know how Draco gets when he sees anything related to quidditch." Pansy teased

"Ohh I know alright, he makes those googly eyes," I replied

"Don't forget he drools." Theo joined our teasing.

"Hey, shut it. I'm here if you haven't noticed." D said irritated

"But you do get distracted Malfoy," Goyle said

"When it comes to quidditch that is." Crabbe finished

"You two were supposed to be on my side!" 

Both Crabbe and Goyle raised their hands in surrender.

"D, behave." I teased

D just grumbled 

"Bye guys! be careful and Crabbe, Goyle, make sure D doesn't get into trouble."

"Sure, Samantha," they replied

 "I'll just find Harry. I know he won't be allowed to Hogsmead as well."

I was looking for Harry everywhere. Fortunately, it didn't take too long. I was about to confront him when I saw a familiar article of clothing. To confirm my suspicions, he put it on, and then he disappeared. 

Harry, Harry, always up to something. I can literally see his footprints. I know he will go to Hogsmead. Ughh Harry why can't you have a regular day today. I know I will get in trouble for this. I ran toward Harry but I forgot where he was so I suddenly bumped into an invisible wall and fell to the ground with said invisible wall.

"Arghh!" Harry groaned

"Harry James Potter! You will give me a good reason for sneaking out."

"Samie? What are you doing?"

"What am I doing?! What are YOU doing?!"

"Um, you kno-"

"No, I do not know?" I cut him off

"Ugh fine! I was sneaking off to go to Hogsmead! Happy now?!" 

"Yes, quite. Unfortunately for you, I am not letting you go."

"Who said I'm asking for permission? And if you haven't noticed, I am older than you."

"Well, I'm more mature than you."

"Debatable."

I scoffed

"Who is 1) Wearing a cloth-like rug and 2) Sneaking out?"

"That's beside the point. Just leave me alone. I want to go to Hogsmead."

"Are you really thick? There is a murderer out hunting for you and you want to go out? I know your self-preservation is non-existent but for my sake, please think first. My life is in your hands."

"Come on, don't guilt-trip me. Besides I have my cloak, I can't be seen."

"Ughh you are so frustrating. I'm probably going to regret this."

"What are you doing?"

"Well, I'm coming with you. I have to keep you out of trouble and if you are harmed in any way, I don't want to worry if you're alright."

He just grinned at me.

"Wipe that grin off your face." I frowned

"Ohh come off it, I know you want to go too. You're just using me as an excuse."

"Just shut up and let's go."

Harry and I put the cloak on and started to leave. We saw the Weasly twins are building a snowman ahead. 

"So why do-" Harry started

"Shhhh, do you want to get caught?!" I told him mentally

"Oops I forgot"

"Yes oops" I rolled my eyes

"I really don't think we can pull this off. Our footprints can be seen on the floor."

"No one will be looking for footprints Samie."

"Only people who look on the ground to walk," I grumbled\

Fred and George suddenly look in our direction I froze a bit but Harry just kept going. I move so the cloak won't fall off me. Fred and George started to walk to us. I was about to grab Harry's shoulder to try and avoid them but they grabbed us.

"Guys let us go," Harry said

"Clever Harry" one of them said

"But not clever enough" one of them continued

"I was hoping something more from you little Snapey" Fred I think said

"Ho- how did you know it was me?"

They didn't answer but they took us to 

"We have a better way"

"Guys, we're trying to get to Hogsmead"

"We know," They said simultaneously.

"Come on guys just let us go," I said

"Don't worry you'll be there-

-We'll show you a quicker way."

"Now Harry, come and join the big boys. And of course little Snapey you're invited"

They took the cloak of us.

"What are you doing?"

"Shhh" 

They gave Harry a spare bit of parchment.

"What's this rubbish?" asked Harry

"Shut up Harry, just let them explain."

"What's this rubbish he says." teased one of them (I still can't figure who is who.)

"That there is our secret to our success.-

-It's wretch giving it to you believe me-

-but we've decided, you're needs are greater than ours. George if you will.-

-I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."

I was looking a

t the parchment with confusion but my eyes widened when ink started to appear. It looks quite like a map.   

"Messrs. Moony, Wormstail, Padfoot, and Prongs are proud to present the Maurader's Map." Harry read

I quickly perched up when I heard Moony. Can it be?  No, no it can't be him. Can he? Probably a coincidence.
