Snape's Soft Spot.

Chapter 45

(Sami's Pov)

"Wait, is this a map of the school?" I asked.

As I was observing the map, I saw tiny footprints moving around the castle. They have nameplates besides the footprints. 

 "Is that really -" Harry started to ask

"Dumbledore, -

In his study-

pacing.-

he does that a lot."

"So this map shows -" I asked

"Everyone?" Harry continued

"Everyone-

Where they are?-

What they're doing-

in every minute-

of every day."

"Brilliant," Harry and I said at the same time.

TIME SKIP

"Did you really just stole Nevilles's lolly?"

"Don't judge."

"That is just absolutely disgusting. He put that in his mouth, Harry! His lolly is probably coated in his saliva." 

"It sounds bad when you say it like that" he grimaced 

"You are so unbelievable." I sighed

"Is that Ron and Hermione?" I asked

"Yeah, I think so. What are they looking at?"

"That is the Shrieking shack. It is meant to be the most hunting building in Britain."

"What are you two doing here?"

I heard a familiar voice

"Oh just leave us alone Malfoy," Ron replied

"Oh don't be such a prat," D replied

Their banter goes on and on from D stating Ron's poor and Ron stating D's a pompous spoiled brat. Crabbe and Goyle were just there watching, probably tired of all the banter. More insults later, Harry and I got tired therefore we both threw a snowball onto them. I threw one at Ron and Harry threw one at D. Both parties were startled and frightened, it was hilarious. The look on both D and Ron was so funny I nearly tripped. Thank Merlin for etiquette lessons. Being able to stand properly was a benefit after all. Unfortunately for my companion here, he fell on the ground laughing and taking the cloak with him. I just stood there awkwardly and waved. All of them just stared at me with a look of awe and horror. Ron and Hermione were awed because of the cloak and how I got it. D, Crabbe, and Goyle looked at me in horror knowing that they have to keep me a secret from my dad. 

"Hey, guys." I awkwardly said

"What are you doing here? How did you get Harry's cloak?" asked Ron

I just hold or finger up signing to wait for a bit. I took Harry's cloak off him and revealed him to the others.

Hermione was going to berate him but D got there first.

"What in Merlin's balls are you thinking!?!? Uncle Sev specifically told you not to go because a mad man is hunting for POTTAH! Now that I know you're out here I'm going to have to keep your secret!! Do you want to die!!? Its uncle Sev for Merlin's sake! Now if he were to ask me where you were, I will have to lie. As Slytherin as I am, I cannot lie to uncle Sev! It's just impossible! He's a human lie detector! If that murderer hasn't already killed you, uncle Sev surely will, after knowing you disobeyed his instructions. Of course, after he kills you he will kill me for not telling!! Don't drag me with you!"

I winced. I really didn't think it through that much. All I was thinking is keeping Harry and me safe. I know Harry will go with or without me so I just went with him. Everyone was stunned at D's outbreak. Crabbe and Goyle were snickering and I can see Ron and Hermione's hidden smile. Harry was trying to keep his laugh.

"I'm sorry D. I didn't really think it through. I really wasn't planning to sneak out but I saw Harry. I really was just telling him not to go. But you know how stubborn he is. He will go with or without me. I am not going to wait inside the castle worrying for his safety, while someone's out there waiting to get to him." And my safety as well, I silently thought. D is the only one who really knew about the bond. D knew completely what I meant but kept quiet.

"What are you two laughing at?! I am not the only one who will get into trouble. You two will obviously join me. If I'm going down with S, you two will join me." D promised. Both Crabbe and Goyle's smiles left their faces.

D saw Harry trying to keep his laugh.

"And you Pottah. This all your fault. Keep laughing, after we get killed by uncle Sev, he will skin you after. Knowing his fondness of you he will make it last."

Harry just gulped.

Time Skip

Crabbe and Goyle left us to go to Honeydukes. While Harry was telling Hermione and Ron about the map, D was also listening, interested in how it works. I, on the other hand, was getting nervous. I was really getting paranoid. What if my dad finds me out here. I can take whatever punishment he gives me, knowing I deserve it but I can't look at his face when he becomes disappointed in me. A voice cut my thoughts. Madame Rosmerta, Hagrid, Fudge and, grandma were chatting about Sirius Black. The moment I heard Harry's name I knew what Harry will do. Unfortunately for me, I was too slow that he already placed his cloak on him and followed them inside, leaving me behind ........ and very visible to the world. I growled at him. 

D helped me at least hide my face by pulling my beanie lower and pulling my scarf up to my nose. My hair is tucked inside my beanie to be able to not look like myself more. We were all just waiting for Harry but a voice broke all our thoughts.

"Who...... do .......... we have ........... here."

I gulped.
