Percy
My homework took ages. Especially English. Luckily, Paul got home by the time I had started it and helped me read it. I thanked him and headed to my room. I opened my wardrobe and reached into the bottom, where my blue jar was stashed. I reached into it and pulled out a golden drachma. Effortlessly, I created a mist in the center of the room,
"Oh Iris, goddess of the rainbow, except my offering. Show me Annabeth Chase," I said. To my delight, Annabeth appeared in front of me.
"Hey wise girl," I smiled before I noticed her bloody shoulder and messy hair.
"Percy?" she said, a note of confusion in her voice. I caught a glimpse of black fur before her face disappeared. She was obviously fighting, I knew that much, but why? Was there an invasion at camp? Was everyone in trouble? Suddenly, I felt sick. I rushed into the living room where my mum and Paul were sat talking,
"Mum! Mum! Something's up. I was just Iris messing and-"
"Percy!" she yelled. I stopped talking, "Percy, slow down. What happened?" she asked,
"Okay. Okay, so I was just Iris messaging Annabeth and she was fighting and bloody and we need to get help!" I yelled. My mum looked at me. Why was she not doing anything?"Mum-"
"Percy, calm down. There is nothing we can do. We'll just have to wait. If something is going on, you'll now," She said soothingly.
I shook my head. I was about to say something, when I was interrupted by a knock at the door. My mum walked over to the door and opened it. She gasped and I looked up. There, standing in the doorway, was Annabeth, scraped and bloody. Her orange camp half-blood t-shirt was soaked crimson. I rushed forward to help her...
