MEGAN
I walked out of my room, freshly showered and in actual clothes, and down to the living room area where everyone except for Ashley, Kate, Harry and Sky were sat. I grew worried when I noticed it because three of those people were in a bit of a situation and one of them was starting to become a friend of mine. I pushed those thoughts aside, figuring they'd all figure it out, and made my way towards Louis. I furrowed my eyebrows once my hand was grabbed and I was pulled out of the room. I calmed down once I realized it was Ashley and sat across from her when she pulled me to where we sat last night with the rest of the girls. She wiped away an array of tears before sighing and looking at me. I frowned when a few tears loosely flowed down her cheeks and she wiped them away again.
“We weren’t drunk.” She said, causing me to grow confused.
“You and Harry weren't drunk?” I asked, making sure I heard her correctly. She nodded and I was kind of taken aback. They weren’t drunk? If they weren’t drunk why did they do it, and why did they seem so surprisedthis morning? She noticed my confusion and worry and ran her hands over her face, letting out another sigh.
“We.. When everyone was dancing, drinking, and jumping into the pool naked, we kind of just looked at each other. I told him I was gonna go watch some tv or something in my room. He asked if I needed company so I said yes, being that it was our first night and making friends would be nice. When we were in my room we kind of sat there awkwardly before he started asking me about myself. Eventually, he ran out of questions so I asked him about himself and then we just started talking randomly. Then, we were laughing at something and when we stopped he just kind of stared at me in this way.. I don’t really know how to describe it, but it made me nervous. I looked away for a moment, but when I looked back at him he commented on how he liked my hair, and that it was long. He picked up a piece of it and..” She stopped and looked down at her hands.
“It’s okay, Ashley, you don’t have to talk about it.” I said and reached over to hear, placing a hand on her knee.
“No, I have to talk to someone. Anyway, he picked up a strand of my hair and examined it before dropping it and just.. He just kissed me. I was a little confused, but I mimicked his actions. It felt right, and then everything just happened from that. He kept asking me if I was sure I didn’t wanna stop, but I said no because I thought he actually liked me. Now I just feel used, and I wish I would’ve stopped him because-“
She stopped when a loud laugh sounded and looked over, letting out a sob and a muffled “no”. I sighed and crawled over to her, pulling her body into a laying position. She rested her head on my lap and I combed through her hair with my fingers.
“It’s going to be okay, Ash. Everything will be okay.” I said as I watched Harry and Sky run around the pool, laughing hysterically.
__________
We all sat around doing nothing that day. I was in my room with Ashley, waiting for her to wake up. I promised her I'd talk to Harry, and I'm kind of procrastinating on that. I have no idea what to say to him. I'm so diagusted with him for doing that to Ashley that I probably wont be able to look at him without wanting to slap him.
My thoughts were cut short when I heard Ashley let out a deep breath and groan.
"Hey there." I smiled down at her. She returned the smile and I pushed a bit of my hair behind my ear.
"Feel any better?" I questioned. She pulled on a tight smile and nodded. I know she was still upset, but I was glad she was staying strong.
"I'm gonna wash up." She said as she crawled off my bed. I waved as she walked out before shaking my head and getting up myself. There are so many things wrong with this day, it's unreal. There were two knocks on my door and I sat up, finding Kate. Her lips were pused and she stood there awkwardly before I motioned for her to come in. She slowly stepped in before making her way to my bed and sitting on it.
"What's up?" I questioned as she fidled with her fingers.
"I just need someone else who isn't mixed into the drama to talk to, and Flau doesn't really seem to want to talk to me." She shrugged, causing me to feel slightly sorry for her.
"I know exactly how you feel." I laughed, making her smile over at me.
"Sky's pretty tight on trying to keep Harry hers so she doesn't really wanna hang with me, so I was wondering if you wanted to go in the jacuzzi with me?" She questioned.
"Yeah, of course." I smiled widely and nodded. I haden't even realized there was a jacuzzi. i must not be very observant.
She went to get ready and I stood up, looking for a swimsuit. My mom was bound to pack more than one. I sighed out of relief when I found something I would actually wear. It was a green, black and white tribal bikini that had a single string to hook around the neck. I put it on and tied my hair up in a bun, grabbing a towel before Kate knocked on my door again.
"Ready?" She questioned. I nodded and we walked downstairs past everyone, causing them all to look at us weirdly.
"Jacuzzi." Kate said as we walked by.
"We're joining!" Sky yelled. They all raced up to their rooms and we laughed as we walked out the back and over to the jacuzzi.
"I really like your bikini, by the way." She complimented as we eased into the bubbling water.
"Thanks, I like yours too." I thanked her, adding a compliment of my own.
We were in there for a few minutes, talking about random things before music started playing loudly and bodies came running to join us. I laughed as Louis pulled me onto his lap, wrapping his arms tightly around my waist and hugging me from behind.
"Cute." Kate mumbled, looking over at us. We laughed before it grew in a comfortable silence.
"We need drinks." Niall stated flatly.
"I'll get em." Harry said as he rose out of the water.
"I'll help." I pulled Louis' hands from my body and ran out, catching up with Harry. We got inside and he grabbed some stuff from out of the fridge and grabbed a few wine and beer bottles as well as some other stuff. I kept trying to think of ways to bring up Ashley.
"Megan can you-" Ashley walked into the kitchen while holding her hand behind her back, stopping when she saw Harry. They both looked at each other before he turned away from her and began making some sort of drink.
"What's that?" I asked, breaking her attention from Harry.
"Can you tie this." She walked up to me, turning around. I nodded and tied the strings together.
"Thanks." She mumbled before exiting through the back. I turned to Harry and grabbed a cup, pouring something random into it before clearing my throat.
"It was a really shitty thing what you did, to Ashley." I said, causing him to look over at me.
"You think I wanted to do that to her?" He asked, regret clearly in his features.
"Being that you wont talk to her, yes. She thinks you used her, and I kind of feel the same way." I took a sip of the liquid in my cup, ignoring the burning in my throat.
"I didn't use her. I don't want to be with Sky, I wanna be with her. It's not exactly easy to just tell Sky that, she's kind of controlling." He explained. I shrugged before biting my lip, thinking of the possibile things he could do, though one stood out.
"You don't exactly have to tell her.." I trailed off.
"What?"
"Just make it clear you want to be with Ashley." I shrugged. He opened his mouth but stopped when Niall came running in.
"You guys take forever!" He exclaimed and grabbed the cup in my hand and took a sip from it before scrunching his nose up.
"That's awful." He told me before placing it back in my hands.
"Here." Harry chuckled, handing him a dfferent cup and doing the same for me. I shrugged and set the cup I had originally had down and kept Harry's. I took something for Louis before heading back out. Everyone but Sky, Zayn and Kate were out of the jacuzzi. I handed Louis his drink and watched as Harry walked to Ashley and smirked. I'm just amazing.
