He was happy to see Shinobu tucked in bed with their son laying across from her
It has been that long.
Shinobu was only starting to develop a bump when he left, but now it has developed into a beautiful baby boy.
As he begin to settle into his home a small yawn woke him up and there, a short Shinobu rose from the comfy sheets. She was surprised to say the least.
"Giyu! Giyu! You're home! Why didn't you tell me I could've prepare something!" She scolded as she rushed to hug him, as soon as they share a kiss a tiny figure also stood up,
Giyu stood there in a trance, not knowing what to say. But one thing, he's certain about was he was happy, he waited and fought through the war just to see this moment. He was sure he would die happy right then and there.
It was a dinner full of surprises, as he snacks on the hearty soup. Shinobu rocking a sleeping Gichi while delightfully filling him in about how the village ladies helped her give birth, how much she miss him, and how Gichi first words were 'mama'
He was lucky
very lucky.
