Calling all the liars

"Roxy, get down here" Olivia called from downstairs as Roxy grabbed her backpack and went down the stairs. Olivia was a pretty woman with long brown hair and green eyes and a heart of gold
"I still think this is ridiculous" Roxy sighed and Olivia crossed her arms at the bottom of the stairs
"You have to go to school, Roxy" Olivia said
"It's like kindergarten all over again" Roxy said as she walked past her mother
"Except kindergarten was the law" Olivia added as Roxy walked toward the door
"I'll see you later, mom" Roxy said before she walked out of the door and heard the whistle she's been hearing everyday since she was fourteen as she walked down the steps toward her friends
"Roxy, how've you been" Jesse asked. Jesse was your average nerd with bright blue eyes and brown hair and long story short Tommy and Nessie always made fun of him but they also always had his back.
"Same old, Jess" Roxy said and the three of them glanced at each other
"This isn't like the last time when you became determined to harass the cops, right?" Nessie asked. Nessie was your average rebel, she was a Latina with brown hair and chocolate brown eyes and a smile that made almost every boy she encountered weak at the knees
"No, I'm over it. If the cops are gonna find out who killed Maeve then awesome, if they don't whatever, at least she's peaceful now" Roxy said and Jason scoffed
"I've known you my entire life, Roxy and I know you're not going to give up that easily besides harassing the cops was fun" Jason said. Jason was the group's attempted bad boy with black hair and brown eyes, he used his masculinity to charm the girls which usually failed. Out of the entire group, Jason and Roxy were the closest, they knew each other's darkest secrets; the secrets they didn't tell anyone else
"Nope, I'm done, moving on" Roxy said and Jason put his arm on her shoulders
"I have a feeling that it's going to be a boring world without wild Roxy" Jason said causing Roxy to chuckle
"Are you kidding? I like being wild, in fact I don't think I'm ever going back" Roxy said and you could see both Jason and Nessie's excited expressions but Jesse's expression said one thing; fear
"Now that calls for celebration" Jason said
"I'll get the liquid courage" Nessie volunteered and Jesse groaned 
"Come on guys, last time I was dared to call my parents and they sent me to therapy" Jesse said  and Roxy patted him on the back
"First, I'm super sorry about that. Second, we're not gonna get drunk" Roxy said and Jason stiffened while looking at Nessie
"What?" Rory asked
"Wild Roxy doesn't plan out the night" Jason said with a smirk
"Yeah, what's wrong?" Nessie asked and Roxy sighed
"It's just me and my mom now. She's been working nights at the hospital and she sleeps all day, I just want to make sure she's gonna be okay before I do something I'm probably going to regret" Roxy said and Jason nodded in agreement
"Makes sense, I mean your asshole father ditched you guys when you needed him the most" Jason said as Nessie looked at her phone
"Speaking of assholes, if we don't leave now Principal Shepard will be all over our asses" Nessie said and they spoke their agreement before beginning their way to school
