Roxy didn't go home until late and by late I mean midnight. She opened the door and closed it behind her when the light flickered on
"You're late" she heard
"So?" Roxy said
"I told you that Maia was coming back today and you never came home" Olivia said and Roxy rolled her eyes
"Yeah, well, there's a reason for everything" Roxy said
"I'm sorry, Roxy. I never should have accused you of taking that picture" Olivia apologized
"Saying that you're sorry doesn't fix everything. Consider you're apology rejected" Roxy said as she walked up the stairs and into her room and looked at the diary. She knew she should read more of it but felt it was disrespectful to Addison
"I heard you and mom" Maia said as she walked into the room
"I'm sure you did" Roxy said
"Why were you fighting with her?" Maia asked and Roxy turned her head in Maia's direction
"She accused me of taking Maeve's baby picture and started yelling at me when I told her that I never touched it" Roxy said
"If she's trying to apologize then maybe you should try to get along with her" Maia suggested
"This isn't the first time something like that has happened. Every two months, she comes out with something new, last time, I had my guitar and I was ready to go out to my gig and she said it was no way for her daughter to act" Roxy said
"Well, in fairness, Maeve and I never went out to bars and played rock music" Maia said
"No, you guys went to church with mom and that was fine with me but it's not my type of thing and mom is just going to have to accept that" Roxy said
"So, when's the next gig" Maia asked
"Tomorrow night" Roxy replied
"What're you going to play" Maia asked
"Since we don't actually play our own songs yet, it's kind of iffy but I think we're going to play Dead end justice by The Runaways" Roxy said and Maia tilted her head
"What are the Runaways?" Maia asked
"An all female rock band from the seventies, they were almost inducted into the hall of fame in three years" Roxy replied
"Tell you what, I'll go to your gig and see you play tomorrow night" Maia suggested and Roxy smiled
"It's at Patti's Rock n rollers" Roxy said
"I haven't been there since high school" Maia remarked
"I'll see you tomorrow" Roxy said
