Calling all the liars

The four friends were sitting in front of the lake looking at a memorial site. More specifically Maeve Highman's memorial site
"I hate lying to my mom" Roxy sighed
"Technically you're not. We only know what we saw, she was here and alive when we left" Nessie said as they all gazed at the sign that had Maeve's name engraved into it
"What we did was worse. We left her here after Joey raped her" Jason said
"There's no body, no ones gonna know about anything until they find the body" Sam said and Roxy shook her head
"We will. We have to live with the guilt that we could have saved my sister's life" Roxy said
"I heard that the criminals usually return to the crime scene" Jesse said and Jason looked at him weirdly
"He's been watching Night Crawler and Zodiac" Jason said already knowing what Jesse would say
"Damnit Jesse!" Roxy scolded
"I'm sorry but this whole thing just got me thinking about that. Last year four women were found raped and dead and no one knew who did it" Jesse said nervously
"But we know who did it, retard" Jason said and Roxy smacked his shoulder playfully
"He's got a point though" Nessie said
"And it was in this town. Who knows how long Joey's been in the game" Jesse said
"You said you were giving up, right?" Jason asked and Roxy scoffed
"You honestly think that I would let that sick son of a bitch rest after what he did" Roxy replied
"Did Maeve live in the house with you?" Sam asked and Roxy shook her head
"No, she lived with Joey in the loft above the garage" Roxy said
"Then that's where we start. We don't leave a stone unturned and we don't stop until he's rotting in hell" Sam said
"To the ends of the earth" they said in unison
