{ Laken }

Ashton held my hand as we drove to the doctor. Right now, only the girls know. We didn't want to tell the other boys yet.

We pulled into a parking garage and parked on the third level. That's where the doctor we were going to was.

Ashton climbed out of the driver seat and opened my door, taking my hand as we walked towards the entrance. We walked down the hall until we found it. We both took a breath before opening the door and walking in.

As we walked to check-in, I examined the others in the waiting room. Ashton and I were the youngest people here and definitely the least pregnant,

"Are you here for an appointment?" The receptionist asked,

"Uh, yeah. For Laken Cruze" I nodded,

"Okay. You're here to see Dr. Jones at 11. I just need to see your license and insurance card" she smiled. I handed them both over. She scanned them and gave them back along with a clipboard,

"You just need to fill this out and bring it back up to me. It's got typical questions on there but there's also a section on family health history for both of you to fill out"

"Okay thank you" I smiled and Ashton took a seat in the back corner and I began filling everything out,

"I don't really know any health things on my dad. He left when I was little so I've never really seen him" Ashton sighed. I nodded and filled out my family history then let him do his section. When it was finished I took it back up and we waited to get called back.

I had my head on Ashton's shoulder and was holding his hand in my lap while we waited. I knew I was pregnant. They weren't even going to have to check. I took the three tests the other night and they were positive, and every day since Mikayla's been making me take one- all positive.

"Laken Cruze" the door opened. I took a breath and Ashton and I stood, following the nurse back to a room.

I sat up on the table while Ashton took a seat in the chair next to it,

"I just need to confirm a couple of things. What's your full name and date of birth?" The nurse asked,

"Laken Alaia Cruze. July 10, 1996" I sighed,

"Wow you just turned 19" she widened her eyes. I nodded and Ashton grabbed my hand,

"Okay. There's a bathroom behind that door. I need you to pee in the cup that's in there and put it in the metal door. First I'm going to take some blood" she told me. I nodded and held my arm out as she took some blood. When she left the room I went into the bathroom and peed in the cup then returned to the room and sat back on the table.

I looked at Ashton. He was biting his nails and bouncing his leg. I sighed and held my hand out. He smiled and took it,

"Sorry, I'm nervous" he lightly laughed.

The door opened and a doctor came in with a clipboard,

"Hi. I'm Dr. Jones" she shook our hands,

"Laken"

"Ashton"

"It's nice to meet you guys" she smiled, "I looked over the urine sample and the blood work- you're pregnant" she spoke.

Ashton and I looked at each other, hearts in our stomachs,

"We can do an transvaginal ultrasound today if you want. We can try and get some pictures of the baby" she told us. I nodded.

I got dressed in a gown and she sat me up and had me put my feet up on these stirrups. Ashton held my hand as she started. We were all staring at the screen.

My heart fluttered when the small bean came on the screen,

"That's your baby" Dr. Jones smiled. Tears came to my eyes and I looked at Ashton who was crying,

"Is this a happy cry or a scared cry?" Our doctor asked,

"Both" Ashton and I said at the same time. She smiled softly and finished up and printed the pictures for us. At the top of the strip of photos, she wrote 6 weeks,

"I'm 6 weeks?" I questioned,

"You are. Come back in four and we will do an external ultrasound" she told us.

Ashton and I got in the car and we started at the pictures,

"We got this" he assured me,

"I know we do" I nodded.

After dinner, we sat everyone down. Mikayla and Katie already know, but the three boys don't,

"So, does someone want to tell me what's happening?" Michael questioned,

"Laken and I have something to tell you guys" Ashton spoke. I had my hands clutched behind my back holding our ultrasound pictures,

"Did-did you break up?" Luke stuttered,

"No no no" Ashton assured and looked at me,

"I'm pregnant" I held the photos up. The boys' mouths fell open. Calum took the photos from me and stared at them,

"You're going to be parents?" Michael cracked a smile,

"Yeah" I choked out,

"I call godfather!" Luke jumped up,

"Congratulations" Calum hugged us,

"You know you guys can still live here. Even after the baby is born. We won't care" Mikayla stepped forward, everyone nodding in agreement,

"Thanks guys" Ashton smiled,

"Wait does this mean when Ashton meets your parents for the first time, it's going to be you all telling them you're pregnant?" Michael questioned,

"Oh fuck"
