Ashton and I were eating breakfast as everyone started waking up and Luke and Michael were scrambling to get out the door to work and Katie followed behind them. It was Friday so Ashton, Calum, Mikayla, and I were off.

"How late do you think Michael will be?" Ashton laughed,

"I'd say 10 minutes" I laughed back.

Mikayla and Calum dragged in not long later, grabbing breakfast and sitting at the table with Ashton and me,

"The waves are going to be good today. Wanna surf Ash?" Calum questioned,

"Fuck yeah!" Ashton bounced up, "I haven't gotten to surf in forever"

"So tan?" Mikayla shot my way, knowing I can't surf now,

"Fuck yeah!" I mimicked Ashton.

Mikayla and I laid out on towels while Calum and Ashton were getting boards ready. I wish I was getting to go in the water and surf, but we have to be cautious and I'm not risking anything.

I looked over at Ashton. He was hunched over waxing his board. His wetsuit was down around his waist and his curls were wild,

Ashton and I made contact as soon as I put my phone down,

"Saw that" he winked,

"Wasn't trying to hide it" I smiled. He laughed and jogged over, kissing my lips, then grabbing his board and running into the water with Calum,

"I think you guys have gotten even touchier since you've been pregnant" Mikayla groaned,

"Probably. Pregnancy hormones are making me horny" I shrugged,

"Okay TMI" she held her hands up,

"Girl, we've literally seen each other naked"

Mikayla laughed and laid down. I laid back on my back, using Ashton's towel as a pillow,

"When's your next appointment?" Mikayla hummed,

"Next week. The 28th" I smiled,

"If they can tell are you all going to find out the gender?"

"Probably. I don't think we'd be able to wait" I laughed, "Ash thinks it's a girl. I think boy"

"I think it's a girl too" she winked,

"I'll still be happy either way" I smiled, then turned to watch the boys surf.

Ashton and I climbed in bed at 9 pm. It was now 3 am and I yet to sleep. Plus my back hurt and I was hungry and was craving McDonalds.

I groaned with frustration and flopped back onto my side, accidentally waking Ashton up,

"Baby? What's wrong?" He pulled me to him,

"I'm tired but my back hurts and I want McDonalds" I whined,

"I don't know how to help you're back, but I do know we can go get McDonalds" he spoke soft, kissing my lips briefly, making me jump up,

"Then let's fucking go!" I beamed, making Ashton laugh and get up from the bed. He pulled on a pair of shorts and a hoodie then handed me one of his hoodies to put on.

We hopped into Ashton's truck and headed out. Even with my hoodie on, I was chilly. So, I leaned back to reach into Ashton's backseat, knowing he keeps a blanket back there. I froze as I looked, seeing a baby carrier box and two bases for the seat. One was already opened and installed,

"Ash?" I spoke up, hearing him hum, "Why'd you already buy a carrier already?"

"I had to make sure it fit in the backseat. My backseat isn't exactly big so I had to be sure" he placed his hand on my leg as I turned back with the blanket, "We'll have to put it in the middle but that's fine. I need to put the other base in your car"

"C-can you wait until I'm with you to buy anything else?" I questioned. I kinda wanted to do that stuff together,

"Yeah of course. I just got that to see if I needed to sell the truck and get a new vehicle" he took my hand, "I promise we'll do it all together"

Ashton pulled into the McDonalds drive-thru and rolled his window down,

"What do you want?" he glanced to me,

"Cheeseburger and a 6 count nugget" I smiled. Ashton nodded and leaned his head out the window,

"Hi, can I get 2 cheeseburgers, a 6 count nugget, a large fry, and two waters" he spoke. The person spoke back and Ashton pulled around to the window, handing his card over. He got the card back and we got our food and drinks before moving to a parking spot.

I handed Ashton his food, stealing a fry in the process. I dug right into my burger, hearing Ashton laugh,

"You really were craving it" he laughed, but ended with a yawn, making me frown,

"Sorry I woke you up and dragged you out" I looked down,

"You don't have to apologize. I'm happy to babe" Ashton placed a hand on my leg, making me look back at him,

"It's nice having some time that's just us. Sometimes I feel like we don't get that" he spoke,

"Yeah. I wish we had more time sometimes" I nodded,

"How about this" Ashton grabbed my hand, "Let's do a little weekend getaway. I've actually been saving money to do something because I felt like we don't really get enough time just the two of us"

"What were you thinking?" I asked,

"There's a little cabin thing inland. It's secluded and has a lake. I heard it's one of the best places on Oahu like it" he smiled,

"That sounds fun" I grinned,

"Then I'll book it"

We got back home and climbed back into bed. I laid down but Ashton grabbed my laptop and leaned up against the headboard,

"What are you doing?" I groaned, but moved to where my head was on his stomach but to where he could still see the laptop,

"Booking our getaway" he kissed my head, going to the website and booking a small cabin. It wasn't as expensive as I thought it would,

"How about in a couple of weeks?" he asked. I nodded and hugged his stomach as he finished booking it.

"Booked" Ashton grinned, "Now let's get some sleep"
