{ Laken }

I was awake before everyone. I've had a slight pain just resting in my stomach all night and just couldn't sleep. I was up and down, peeing every few minutes or so. I was also extremely thirsty.

I carefully got out of bed without waking Ashton and made my way into the kitchen.

Just as I walked in, I felt this pop then felt water run down my leg. I froze and slowly looked down. My sleep shorts were wet and I could see water on my leg.

My eyes widened for a minute, but I collected myself,

"ASHTON! MIKAYLA!" I hollered, hoping they'd hear me. They did because both came running in,

"I think my water broke"

"You're not due until the 14th. It's only the 3d" Ashton panicked,

"Baby wants to come a little early" Mikayla smiled, "Ashton go grab your hospital stuff while I call the hospital. And bring down extra clothes for Laken"

Ashton nodded and ran back to our room. Mikayla stood next to me on the phone, telling them we were coming in.

Ashton came back with some clothes but as I went to move, a horrible pain shot through my stomach, making me grab him,

"It's a contraction," Mikayla told a probably panicked Ashton, "I promise she's fine".

I unclenched Ashton's arm when it was over and he helped me change in the middle of the kitchen then helped me sit at the table while he and Mikayla got everything together and put the bag in the car,

"I'll follow behind you," Mikayla told Ashton. He nodded then helped me up and into his truck.

He held my hand the whole time, letting me squeeze it when a contraction hit,

"It's okay babe" he calmly spoke. He was a whole lot calmer now than he was at home,

"Do you want me to drop you or park?" he asked as we pulled in,

"Park" I gritted. He nodded and pulled into the first spot.

We began walking in and Mikayla met us at the desk. She got in before us and already got us a room.

I changed and got on the bed as our doctor came in and began hooking up the IV and checking the baby and my dilation,

"Have you been having contractions all night?" she looked up at me,

"Not really. It was just a dull ache" I muttered, interlacing my fingers with Ashton's,

"You're at a 7 and I need you at a 10. But you're already pretty far. Make sure you press the button if the contractions get any closer" Dr. Jones told me, "I'll be back in a little bit"

She and Mikayla left and I moved over so Ashton could lay with me.

It had been an hour and a half and I was clutching Ashton's shirt in my hand as a very powerful contraction hit. Ashton calmly rubbed my back and kissed my head. Mikayla was in the room with a nurse and they were checking my dilation,

"You're pretty much ready to push" the nurse smiled. I nodded, coming down from the contraction. Ashton got out of bed while people came in to get us ready.

Mikayla sat next to Dr. Jones and looked up at me,

"Push when you have your next contraction" she grinned. I nodded and grabbed Ashton's hand as he leaned down by my head,

"I love you" he smiled,

"I love you too"

He kissed my lips but my head ripped away when the pain shot through my stomach,

"Push push push"

I pushed and about broke Ashton's hand.

We pushed again, and again, and again,

"Okay! One more time and she'll be here" Dr. Jones called. Ashton and I made eye contact,

"I can't wait to meet her" he teared up. I went to respond but I couldn't because I started pushing,

"Keep going Laken" Mikayla cheered,

Within seconds, cries filled the room and the small bundle was placed on my chest.

"She's amazing" Ashton whispered, laying next to me and looking at our girl in my arms. They had brought her back an hour ago and we haven't stopped staring at her. She looks just like Ashton. She has his nose, lips, and everything.

The door opened and our friends walked in, along with Mikayla who had just gotten off,

"She's beautiful" Katie aww'd leaning down,

"She looks like you Ash" Michael whispered,

"What's her name?" Calum asked, stepping forward,

"It's....."
