Natasha:
I wake up gradually and notice Valerie still in my arms from the night before. Nothing in the world could get me to wake her up, she looks so peaceful and I'd hate to be the one to ruin that. It's still pretty early in the morning so I try to just fall back asleep for a while.

Her hand holding onto my shoulder slowly moves across my chest and she moves her head so she can dig her face into my neck.

"Good morning Nat," I hear her whisper.

"Good morning."

She lifts her head so she's looking at me and gives me the cutest smile. "I had a good time with you last night." Her voice sounds so innocent.

She brings her hand to my face and kisses me for a few seconds before getting out of bed and going to the bathroom. I try to follow her but my legs feel numb so I just stay put until she comes out.

She comes out of the bathroom to me still lying in bed. "Are you feeling okay, honey?" She asks.

I smirk and say, "Yeah, my legs are just a bit numb, thanks to you."

She leaves the room to make us breakfast and comes back with a plate of pancakes and a cup of coffee for me. "Thank you."

We're enjoying our breakfast in bed with the TV on when Val's phone starts buzzing like crazy. She reaches over me to the nightstand on my side of the bed to grab it. She smiles as soon as she opens her texts.

"Who is it?" I ask.

"Peter. He's sending me pictures of him in the new suit Tony made for him. He's so happy and it's adorable. It makes me smile. Look." She shows me the 10 pictures of Peter posing in his new suit. Val's right, it is adorable.

Seeing those pictures makes me miss being home. "I miss the team. As much as I love being here with you so much, I miss the tower and everyone."

"Me too Nat. We'll be home soon though," she assures me. She takes our plates back to the kitchen when we're both done eating and comes back to lay with me. She puts her arm around me so I put my head on her shoulder and we just watch TV for a while.

Val perks up."Hey, I have an idea!" She gets more excited as she talks. "Let's go to the beach tonight and watch the sunset."

"I love that, it's a date then."

We lay together for a while longer until we can tell the sun is going to set soon. We get ready for our little sunset beach date. Val's wearing her classic white crop top and black shorts, I love that look on her. I put on a loose dark blue V-neck T-shirt with black leggings.

By the time we get to the beach, no one else is there. We made it with perfect timing, the sun starts to set. It's a beautiful mix of orange and yellow. We're standing side by side in the sand, I have my arm around her shoulders, she has her arm around my waist, and her head is resting on my shoulder. Life couldn't get more perfect. Just as I think that to myself, Val pulls away and grabs my hand, leading me a little closer to the water.

"Valerie, where are we going?" I ask through my laughter.

She doesn't even answer me. Instead, she stops in her tracks, I'm assuming she found her perfect spot, and turns to face me. She gets up against me and wraps her arms around my neck so I put my hands on her hips. She stares at me and innocently smiles. She starts swaying side to side and I can't help but laugh.

"Babe, what are we doing?"

"Dancing."

I couldn't even get in another word before she spins me around. When I come back around, I fall into her laughing. She's so happy, I can't argue against dancing with her. We dance and spin around each other until it's too dark to see. She spins me one last time, letting me fall into her one last time.
