Dazai said to meet today at some shopping area.
It's late and everyone's shopping still. The city is alive with people.
You wait nervously.

"Y/n!" He says happily.
You turn around and smile.
Dazai entire presence has changed.
He seems so happy now.
You wonder how happy he is now.. Wherever he is now.
You wonder if you should go too...

"You look so cute! And you don't look so depressed anymore! I'm glad!" Dazai mentions, you blush.
"I see.." you say, embarrassed...

"Oh right! I wanted to show you this..." Dazai begins, you follow him as he takes you around the shopping district.
You guys had a lot fun.

He again... wouldn't stop buying you things..
"Dazai I don't need that!" You say.
"Y/n please take this.. another apology for leaving you.." he says in sad tone but playful at the same time.
He hands you more gifts.
You sigh..
You guys continue walking around.
You bought Dazai a lot too.

"Y/n please I don't need that!" Dazai kept saying but you wouldn't care and besides it matched his new brighter look.
It started getting late, the stores began closing one after another.
The city got darker.

"Chuuya thinks I'm on drugs." You begin. Dazai laughs.
"Can he not handle me returning all of a sudden?" Dazai said in between laugh.
He grabs your phone.

"Dazai..?" You ask.
He suddenly wraps his arm around you and takes a quick photo.
You now embarrassed snatch your phone back.

"I look awful!" You say.
"No you don't. Also show that to Chuuya k..?" Dazai says with a wink. He continue to prance around.
You smile and nod.

It's the next day.
You walk to work.
You knock on Chuuya's office door.
He opens the door.
"Oh hey." He says.

"Hey. Here I can prove to you I'm not on drugs." You begin.
Chuuya laughs.
"That's a way to start a conversation." He says.
You show him your phone.
"Y/n are you sur-" he stops mid sentence.
"Wait... no... this..." he studies the photo.
His eyes widen.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" he screams.
Some person passing jumps.

"YOURE NOT ON DRUGS?! DAZAI HE-"Chuuya stops again mid sentence.
He takes a breath.
"Ok ok ok I believe you. But wow. That's random for him to pop up again." He adds.

You haven't even said a word yet..
"That's why you've been looking better lately too! Ah I see.." Chuuya realizes.
You nod.

You left Chuuya to handle his own thoughts and continue working.
Your phone rings.
"Hey it's me."
"Chuuya?"
"Yeah. After work meet me out at the front door. I gotta... tell you something."
"Huh..? Ok... sure..?"
"Good. I'll.. see you then."
He hangs up.
His voice seemed much more firm than earlier..
Your confused.. this actually seemed important..

Work ended like it normally does.
You walk out.
You look around for Chuuya.
He's leaning on a cement wall. His hat tilted down.
"Chuuya" you call.
He looks up.
"Hey." He says.

"Are you okay? You wanted to talk." You begin. You're so confused on what's happening and Chuuya's sudden mood change.
He takes your wrist.

"Chuuya?" You look at him for answers. You can't see his eyes, his hat covers them.

He begins walking.
"Chuuya what's going on? Please tell me!" You ask, Chuuya doesn't stop, nor listens he just keeps walking.
