"Dazai why do you want to commit suicide so bad?" You ask,
You are both sitting at a bench looking out at the ocean.
His arm is wrapped around you as you lean on him.

"Why..? Well that's because everything worth wanting is lost the moment I obtain it. I always lose things so precious to me and that's not worth prolonging this life." Dazai explains softly.

"I see..." you answer. It was a deep response, you can tell Dazai means it.
"I don't want to lose you ever." Dazai says, he tightens his grip.

"Well even if you wanted too, I won't leave you." You say with a smile and laugh.
"Thank you." He says calmly.
"I really hope that stays true." Dazai says underneath his breath.

"Y/n!!!" Dazai screams.
He picks himself up, stumbles a little in the process but rushes over to y/n.
A demonic creature lays over her as it continues to stab her to death.

"No! Stop it!!!" Dazai screams, struggling in the moment he tries shoving the creature away but of course when it's ten times bigger than Dazai, it's not going to even flinch.
"Haha like you could ever stop me!" The man yells. Dazai turns around.

In that instant...

Dazai broke all his bones.
The man is now collapsed on the floor.
The creature collapses too.

Y/n lays on the ground, unconscious, with blood pooling out.
Dazai rushes over to y/n.
He holds her lifeless body.
"Y/n!! Cmon wake up!!" He yells.
Blood pours all over him.
He trembles.

"No! No! No! Not again! This can't be happening! Shit!! Y/n cmon wake up!!" Dazai yells. He trembles.
Y/n twitches a bit.
She coughs up blood.
"Y/n!!" Dazai screams.

"You're... ok... I'm.." she coughs up blood.
"No y/n save your strength. Dr. Yosano will heal you! Just a little bit more!!" He yells.

"Wow... dying the second time hurts more... haha...I don't think I'll...." before she can finish, Dazai cuts her off again. He's doesn't want to hear that... more than anything else.

"Stop!! You'll be just fine!!" Dazai says.
"Dazai..." y/n begins.
Dazai holds her hand tight.
"I'm... so glad... I was able to have you with me... you made my life..." y/n stops talking because of pain. She takes a breath.

"... my life... worth living..." She says.
Dazai eyes widen.
He tries to break a smile for y/n.

Even though it hurts so much to admit... he knows y/n doesn't have much time left. He tries to make her last moments as happy for her as possible.

"Y/n... I'm so glad I met you. Thank you. You gave me this new life. You've made my life a wonderful one." Dazai says, meaning every word he said.
She smiles.
"...That's good." She says.
She passes out.

Her pulse getting weaker and weaker...
Dazai leans in and kisses her.
It was a long bitter kiss.
Her blood stained his lips.

He wasn't crying but his expression was blank. He wasn't really sure how to react.
He was hoping something would happened where she would wake up and say it was all a crappy magic trick, just like how he used to say.

He just stared at her, with an empty expression.
Only nothing happened.

I rush back with Kunikida, to Dazai and
y/n.
"Run ahead kid, just in case Dazai got clumsy and the man ran away." Kunikida says with an annoyed sigh.
I nod and run ahead.
I find Dazai.
He holding y/n.
