"Let's go y/n! Time for dinner!" Your mother takes your hand.
You happily prance next to your mother.

You guys leave the gravesite.

It was the grave of your aunt, you just visited.
"Was auntie nice?" You ask.
You mom laughs.
"She was so nice that it was the death of her." You mom says.
"Huh?"

"She always felt like she had a debt to everyone, so she would spend her life doing everything for others she never made decisions for her self."
You mother explains.

"Don't ever be like that okay..? I want to live a life you can be happy with. A life where you took the opportunities in front of you. One where you are happy. Promise me that honey." Your mother says softly.

"Okay!" You say happily.

You can't break your promise with your mother.
And besides you know this is the right choice.
You'll be happy.

Dazai smiles,
"That's great." He says.

"But what now..?" You ask,
"Well I still need to get some information about Atsushi's bounty but after that we'll get out of here." Dazai explains.

"Go get your belongings, not everything, you don't want to be suspicious." Dazai adds.
"Ok."  You heart is racing you can't believe you're actually doing this.

"Don't even say goodbye to anyone." Dazai says.
"Ok." You feel a bit of regret in that moment.
Damn I'm really leaving everyone and everything behind.

"After everything they've done for me. I'm just going to leave them..?" You start second guessing your decision.
"Yes y/n. You need to move on at some point." He says calmly.
"Alright." You say with a nod.
You start to head out.

"One more thing y/n!" Dazai calls.
You look back.
"I'm happy for you. You finally made the right choice." Dazai says with a smile.
You smile.

"I'm... I..
I'm happy too.."

(Author's Note: Chuuya's POV starts right after Dazai and him reunite in the anime where Dazai is chained up and whatnot. I thought this might help if people are confused)

Chuuya

I finally get to beat the crap outta Dazai but still I don't feel satisfied.
Dazai broke the chains his hands were restrained on.

I stand back and take a breather.
Dazai has blood smeared on his face.
Good. What he deserves.
As I start to take my leave.
Dazai throws my knife at me.
After a bit of back to back bickering I ended up giving Dazai some information.
Damnit! I want to kill this man!!

"Wait one more thing!" Dazai shouts as I turn away.
"What is it now?!" I bark back.
"It's about y/n." He says.
I turn back.

"What about her?!" I shout, I run up and hold him by the collar of his coat.
"She's leaving. She's coming with me." Dazai says.

"What?"
Leaving?! Like for the weekend?! Why would I care?! I mean I would... Ugh shut up!!

"She's making a change to her life for the better." Dazai explains.
"Hold up! You mean she's leaving the Port Mafia?! Haha she can't just do that, you know?" I say with laugh.
He's just trying to piss me off. It's working but still.

"With my help she will." Dazai says.
"And I know you won't tell a soul because you love her and want her to be safe." Dazai says with a devilish smirk.
