"Nana!" The little boy skips through the home, looking for his grandmother.

"Over here." The old lady called over, sitting in her room.

"Are we still going to the pumpkin patch?" Caden said excitingly, sitting next to her on the comfortable bed.

"Yes darling, we should leave before it gets too crowded." Despite feeling sick and tired, she smiled at her grandson, he's been talking about how excited he is to go to the pumpkin patch with his grandma all week.

"Okay!" He smiles, holding a hand for her to take.

"There so many Nana!" The little boy excites, looking at the hundreds of pumpkins.

"Pick your favorite mijo." She smiles.

"Okay!" He runs threw the aisle of many pumpkins.

"Why are you crying?" A women bends down to the little boy. Sat under a tree.

"I can't find my Nana." He cries.

"Well let's go find her!" She offers a hand which he takes as they wonder around the field. Suddenly he stops as he notices the ambulance taking his grandma inside.

"Nana!" The little boy runs over to the old lady.

"What's your name sweetie?" A paramedic asks walking over to him.

"Where are you guys taking her?" He looks between the Paramedic and his grandma.

"To the hospital. What's your name?" She asks again.

"Caden." He answered not looking at her. As the ambulance shuts the door, driving away. "Why is she leaving me?" His gaze transfers back to the worried paramedic.

"I- why don't we take you to see her." She said making Caden nod quickly.

"What's you full name Caden?" An officer asks. Sitting in a empty room at the Hospital.

"Caden Jensen." He said.

"Do you live with your grandma?" The little boy answers with a small nod.

"Where my Nana?" The ten year old ask softly. A little scared about the situation.

"Well." The officer glances at the other officer in the corner of the room. "She passed away."

Passed away? The little boy thought.

"She died from a heart attack." The officer in the corner clarified.

Dead? The ten year old instantly started sobbing. "Can- I- see- see- he-her?" The boy said between his cry's. The officers responding with a sympathetic nod.

While the heartbroken boy was saying his goodbye, the officers were contacting his parents.

"Did you contact his parents?" An officers asks.

"Yes they should be here any minute."

"Hello, I'm doctor Tom." He introduced bending down so he's eye level with the teary boy.

"Hi." The little boy responded softly. The boy looking over his shoulder at his pale descended grandma.

"I have to take your grandma now." Tom said giving him a sad smile.
