Walking into school the next day, made my heart pound but not just because I was nervous to start the test I have in all my classes.

It was because it was out.

Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Some with pity looks, some with smug smiles, some with surprised looks. Whispering, acting like I couldn't hear them.

'She was in an accident.'

'Romero died.'

'She went on a total rampage.'

'She's fucking crazy.'

'It was all her fault.'

'That's why she missed school for such a long period of time. She was in the hospital.'

'Her mom is in prison.'

'Her dad wasn't even home. He basically abandoned them.'

'She's a addict. An alcoholic too.'

'She's a liar.'

I can't ignore them, I just choose to keep my head down trying to ignore there prying gazes. Mocking me. I thought I was over all this. I am. I should've known that the news would eventually get out. It's Montgomery Private school, everything comes out.

'She's crazy. Just like her mom.'

'Even her dad didn't want her.'

'I can't believe she's even allowed to come here. She's dangerous.'

My throat tightens, suddenly becoming difficult to breath. Looking around seeing everyone still looking at me, and I'm standing in the middle of the hallway. Sweat starting to form on my forehead. Not wanting to be here anymore, quickly I exit one of the closest exits.

Heart racing like I just ran a mile, eyes visibly getting blurry, feeling very dizzy, numbness running all through my body. I can't control anything right now. Barely noticing the figure that is appearing in front of me.

They take both of my hands in there own softly.

"It's okay Heaven." They reassure. "Your okay. I just need you to breath in with me okay?" My eyes still blurry that I don't notice who they are so I just nod. "Breath in." We both inhale. "Breath out." We breath out. We do that for awhile, until my breathing gets regular. Closing my eyes for a moment. "You did great." Opening my eyes, recognizing Caden's soft smile.

"Thank you." I press my lips into a thin line, examining my surroundings. I'm still at school just in the court yard that surprisingly know one is at right now.

"Don't listen to them." He shakes his head looking upwards at the sky. "They don't have anything better to do with there life so they just talk shit to make themselves feel better."

I sign in frustration, running my fingers through my hair. Looking at the hard concrete, shaking my head.

"They know." I whisper. "Everyone knows, what happened." I pat my cheeks. "And all I did was run out without saying a word." I'm such a fucking loser. "That shit is so embarrassing."
