I watch my steps as I walk down the aisle. The crowd is looking at me with a smile on their face and clapping their hands while singing me the famous birthday song. I reach for my gown and lift it up since it's too heavy and long. It has a side slit on my left leg, some beads around, pink rose color with the straps on and not that too revealing for me.

I smiled at them while holding my gown and the other is holding a bouquet of fresh roses that dad gave me.

"Happy twenty sixth birthday, my dear. I love you so much." Dad said and give me a kiss on my cheek and hug me when I reach the stage.

"Thanks, dad. I love you too." I replied.

Yes, it's my birthday. We're at the mansion celebrating with my relatives and family friends. It's like a yearly reunion for Elardes and for our family too. Ngayon lang nangyari ito sa akin. Usually sa US ako nag-bibirthday at lumalabas lang kami ni dad since busy naman din ako dati lagi sa trabaho at hindi namin kayang magpabongga ng birthday doon kasi kami-kami lang naman din. But here is different, Elardes are here, my grandparents are also here which is why I feel so nervous this time.

To tell you the truth why it all happened, bigla kaming napauwi dito ni Finn dahil nga sa calls and messages nina mom and dad. Ayoko pa sana kaso nag-alala si Finn pati din naman ako, and to our surprise, sinurpresa nila kami sa mansion na nakauwi na nga sila dito.

I have no idea about all of this. They set up this party, my cousins help mom and dad set this party. Of course I can't look at Wendy and Finn tried to reach her pero umiiwas lang siya kay Finn at sa akin. She didn't tell them everything about us. And kaya pala siya nasa Tagaytay kasi pinahanap kami ni mom and she volunteered para mahanap at malocate kaming dalawa. Wendy used some tracking device usually sa phone ko natrack since magaling si Wendy sa IT kasi ito ang trabaho niya. Wendy on the other hand lied to them and told them that me and Finn are on a business trip with Lohan Enterprises. She told them that it's part of our job to be with each other. Gusto ko siyang pasalamatan sa ginawa niya pero nahihiya pa din ako. Utang ko ang pagsisinungaling niya sa kanila.

Until today, me, Finn, Sam and Wendy are still lying in front of them and I can't even look at their eyes. Alam kong delikado pero kailangan naming gawin dahil hindi pa ito ang panahon para umamin sa kanila. Pero hanggang kelan? Hanggamg kelan kami magtatago?

I look at him, he's smiling while talking at my cousins. His gorgeous eyes and his appearance make me want to kiss him and flex him that I love him. He reach out for a glass of wine and give it to Cloe while still talking to them. Nahuli niya naman akong nakatingin sa kanya kaya mas napangiti siya sa akin at binigyan ako ng makahulugang tingin pagkatapos bumalik ang tingin sa kausap niya.

"Honey," Dad offered me a chair beside him. Nasa long table kami at kaharap ko ang side ni Finn. Nasa tabi ko naman si mom and dad na masayang nakikipag-usap din sa mga in laws niya.

"Thanks," naupo ako.

Nagsimula na nila akong batiin at kung ano-ano pang usapan habang si dad ay ang naglead ng prayer bago kumain. After the prayer they sang a birthday song again and greet me.

"You know it's a celebration of our family, Hayne. So Merry Christmas!" Said tito Silvio.

Yes, my birthday is Christmas eve too kaya laging may celebration dito sa Pilipinas.

"Merry Christmas!" I heard dad.

Tumayo si dad at tinaas ang champagne glass niya. "Happy birthday to my one and only daughter and Merry Christmas to all of you!" Dad announced.

Tumayo din ang lahat at nagcheers ng mga champagne glass. Napasama na din ako and I even look at Finn nakangiti siya sa akin. He mouthed 'happy birthday' and 'I love you' to me na mas nakapangiti sa akin. Maya-maya lang ay naupo na kami at nagsimula nang kumain habang nagkukwentuhan.
