Ayanokouji POV
*The Next Day*
I wake up, pretty tired, due to yesterday's afternoon. I thought it would just be some smooth sailing, but Itsuka was very thorough and seemed pretty angry at me. I sighed just thinking about yesterday. My thoughts then went to Momo. She was pretty cute, anyone could see that, except I started to want to crave something more from her. Probably physical contact? It doesn't matter. This feeling, I'll just put it deep into my mind until I have the power to claim it again. I do my normal routine and go to school. The time was coming for the sports festival.
I arrived early to see Momo who seemed to not want to talk to me, probably because of what happened yesterday. I sit at my seat, waiting for the bell to go off, when I see Uraraka come storming in and going up to me.
Uraraka: Hey, Ayanokouji, good morning!
Me: Yeah, same to you.
Uraraka: I wish the best of luck to you in the sports festival.
Me: Sure, thanks.
More people were coming in, as I understood what everyone was thinking right now, their time to shine. I wonder what kind of activities we would go through, especially seeing as how all the classes were participating.
However, while everyone was going to get changed into their school gym clothes, Mr. Aizawa had something to say.
Aizawa: Ayanokouji, come with me for a few minutes, I need to talk to you.
Me: Sure, alright sensei.
I get up, seeing people eyeing me, confused as to why I was being called up. I left the classroom into the hallway talking to Mr. Aizawa on the way.
Uraraka POV
I saw Ayanokouji walk out with Mr. Aizawa. I went to Jiro and asked her to listen in on their conversation. She didn't feel like using her quirk until Momo also asked for her to do it, so she agreed to it. She used her earphone jacks and listened in on the conversation. However, once she seemed to be finished, she said it was nothing important.
Me: What do you mean it was nothing important! He was called out at the end of class!
Momo: Yeah, what did they talk about?
Jiro POV
I listened in on Ayanokouji's conversation. At first, it was just about class itself, but then it got a bit juicier.
Ayanokouji: So, Mr. Aizawa, what is the actual reason you called me out here in the first place? I highly doubt it was for some small talk like what you're doing now.
Ayanokouji is perceptive to see through Aizawa-sensei.
Aizawa: Your right. I wanted to talk to you about the sports festival. I want you to win it all.
Ayanokouji: Why? Isn't it just a couple of games?
Aizawa: It's much more than that. Strength like yours comes and goes once every generation. I believe you can already be a hero if we gave you a license today. However, the only way I can see someone with your skill set become a number one hero starts now. That is your goal, no?
Ayanokouji: I guess. If it means that much, I'll see what I can do. No promises though.
Aizawa: I guess that's good enough for now. Go back to class. I must file some paperwork on some villains.
