Chapter 12
Ayanokouji POV
Right now, it appears I'm in a tense situation with Uraraka, and Momo. I don't understand why though, I believe it may be due to tension between two prominent women figures in our class, I suppose. We decided to just chill and talk about school.
Uraraka: Ayanokouji, I never knew you were so strong. You took out Jiro and Kaminari with relative ease!
Me: Like I said before, it wasn't skill. I just got the jump on both of them.
Uraraka: But still, what was that quirk you used, it was just like when you beat-
Me: I thought I told you we weren't going to discuss that anymore?
Uraraka: Oh, um right sorry!
Momo: What weren't you going to discuss Ayanokouji?
Me: Nothing important, it's just embarrassing.
Momo: Seems awfully suspicious.
Me: Not at all.
We started to talk about more personal thing like our dreams, family and friends. It was fun. Although, I had to lie about my origins.
The three of us played video games, watched a bunch of movies, and then it was getting pretty late.
Me: Well, I think it's my cue to leave. Thanks for having me.
Uraraka and Momo: Wait
They both were red and looked at each other, eyeing one another.
Uraraka: Why don't you stay over, Ayanokouji. We have a spare guest room down the hall.
Me: I don't mean to intrude though.
Uraraka: Don't worry, my mom says its fine.
Momo: I'll stay too.
Uraraka: Sorry, we don't have enough room for you.
Me: It's fine, I can sleep on the couch and Momo can take the guest room. I've slept in worse conditions before.
Uraraka: Fine, Momo, you can stay. Let's eat dinner and then we can talk about this more later.
Me: Alright.
Momo: Ok
I think Uraraka must be pissed at me seeing as how she's a bit angry over the situation.
We ate dinner with Uraraka's mom. She was nice enough to make us food. They were looking at me funny though so I spoke up.
Me: Is something wrong? Do I have something on my face?
Uraraka: (Blushing) Um, no it's not that. I just don't know anyone with great table manners. Usually, every boy I know would eat with their hands and forget to clean their mouths.
Momo: Yeah, I agree. You must have had a rich upbringing, like myself.
Me: Nope, I just watched other people do it and I thought it would be more respectful to eat like this.
I received a call from an unknown number so I excused myself from the table and went into the hallway.
Uraraka POV
After Ayanokouji left, my mom spoke up.
Mom: I could see why you've been talking non-stop about this man Ochako. Too bad you have a rival on your toes for him.
