Chapter 32: I-Expo

Ayanokouji POV

Melissa had introduced herself to us as we all got to know more about the girl Midoriya was with. Then, I heard an explosion coming from a close section of land. We all ran towards the scene, even Toga. As I arrived, I saw what it was: a fake villain game. Bakugo was destroying robots from pillar to pillar in record time as he finished. The announcer went wild. 

Announcer: Amazing! Katsuki Bakugo defeated the robots in only 15 seconds which earns him first place!!

He really is something, huh. I saw that Kirishima also did the little game and finished 8th place. Bakugo noticed Midoriya was here and exploded towards him, right in his face as he held onto the railing. 

Bakugo: What are you doing here, nerd?!!!!!!!!!!!

Midoriya was shy, as usual as he could only stutter. I also greeted Kirishima. 

Me: Bakugo, how come your here?

Kirishima: Since he places second in the Sports Festival, he got a ticket for two to come here and see the expo. I happened to tag along!

Me: Then how come I didn't get something like that?

Kirishima: Wait! How did you get here then? 

Me: I got some tickets from a family member and came here with my roommate. 

Kirishima was shocked as he looked over and saw Toga, who was talking to Momo and Uraraka. She grinned at me as it seems she's doing something annoying once again. 

Kirishima: Oh, I see. You came here with your girlfriend. 

Everyone heard this and looked at Toga, believing she was going to reject this but instead, she grinned and nodded as I tried to dismantle this misunderstanding once again. 

Me: She's not my girlfriend. She's just a roommate that helps me with rent. Nothing else. 

Kirishima: So manly. 

Mineta and Denki were cursing me out from the back as I ignored them. I looked back at Midoriya as he appeared to be trying out the game on his own. It seems he wants to test out his abilities even further. 

I watched with curiosity as I sat down at a table with my hat drooped on my side as Toga pulled up a chair near me. 

Toga: Sorry, I messed up your day, Ayano!

Me: Your not sorry. I knew you were planning something fishy. I should have known better. 

Toga: Oh don't be so glum, Ayano! I just wanted those other classmates of yours to know where they stand and to know their place!

Me: Well, try not to do this in the future. I do want to keep the reputation I built here intact after all. 

I showed her my glare but she seemed to be unaffected by it. Instead, i believe she may have blushed. 

Toga: I love that side of Ayano the best! I wish you could show it all the time!

Momo: Show what?

Momo came up from behind me as I moved my hat from my face to see her. 

Me: Oh nothing. She said she wanted me to show her a better way to make eggs for breakfast. 

Momo sat down on the other seat that was next to me as I stood myself up on my seat to see Midoriya finish his attempt. He scored around 16 seconds which was good enough for second.
