Chapter 8

Haven't updated in quite a while sorry!!! I'll try and aim for 2/3 updates today if I can!!

Once Minho goes into the Maze the next day,I miss him terribly. Just wandering around the Glade,getting the food to chop up. But I long for Minho,it feels like I've all ready forgot the sound of his voice,the colour of his eyes,the taste of his lips which I long for.

Once he runs back through the Maze doors with Thomas,I feel like throwing myself on him. But I have to resist the urge to throw myself on him. So I just slope off with Winston and the other slicers,waiting for Minho to come back. Once it's quitting time I run to the forest,trying to find where Minho and Thomas went once they got out of the Maze. I'm wandering through when I suddenly see Thomas walking along.

"Um.. Thomas," I stop him in his track "Do you know where Minho is?"
"Yeah. Just closing up the map room. Why?"
"Oh,it's just Alby wants him."
"Okay. Any idea where Chuck is?"
"Yeah,he's probably getting dinner with everyone else."
"Okay thanks."

I walk through the woods to see Minho,he doesn't notice because I'm behind so I take this the perfect opportunity to run and jump on him. He jumps at first,but then scoops me into his arms.

"I missed you Emily."
"I missed you too."

I take this as the perfect opportunity to kiss his lips for a long time. He puts me down then pulls me with him.

We approach a small,circle-shaped building. Which he opens,it reveals everything. Codes on the wall, and a huge map in the centre.

"What the hell is this?" I ask.
"It's the Maze." He replies "You promise you won't tell anyone?"
"Promise. But why did you bring me here?"
"For this."

He pushes me up against a wall and crashes his lips to mine,the most extraordinary kiss we've ever had. His hands stroking my hair then moving down to my waist,holding it tightly against his body. I move my lips from my lips to his neck,kissing and lightly nibbling at the soft skin there as he kisses me harder.

"Minho!" Thomas yells from outside the room,so that we immediately break away.
"Yes?" Minho answers.
"It's tea time, who's in there with you?"
"No one."
"But I heard someone.."
"No you didn't."
"That's it I'm coming in."

I hide under the table.

Minho and Thomas walk away,leaving me there alone. I just decide to wait. It seems like hours,until I hear the door open.

"Emily it's me." I hear Minho's voice.

He comes and sits down beside me.

"Sorry I took so long. The boys were all wondering where you were."
"I'll just tell them I was in the forest having a walk. I'm not even hungry anyway."

That was a big lie,I'm starving.

"Well here." He hands me a loaf of bread "Thats all I could get without winding up Frypan's temper."
"It's fine." I start to eat the warm,fresh bread "Thank you."
"It's okay. Now come on,once you've finished that. I want to show you something."
