Cruel World {Minho}

Chapter 20

Short chapter I know,it's good for the story. Trust me.

Only one person was killed last night. That was Gally. I listened to what he had to say and knew he was correct,every night they would kill one person at a time. Tonight was another night and the victim could be Minho. I couldn't take that risk.

Last night was a blur,especially what Thomas did. Throwing himself at a Griever to be purposely stung,we got him help immediately. But there was not that much we could do,Clint and Jeff were in great shock and all the supplies had been destroyed. But I could tell they were trying the best,we tried to help in any way possible.

In the morning we wake up on the cold floor to walk over to Thomas,who just sits there.

"Are you okay?" Newt asks,bending down next to him "What did you see?"
"My past." He says "I'm one of the people who put you here:Newt,Emily,Minho,Chuck. Teresa you were too,we did this to them."
"That's not true."
"It's what I saw."
"You did this.." I whisper,not able to process it properly.
"I'm sorry." Is all Teresa says.
"No I'm sorry." I turn to her "I haven't been a good friend to you."
"You've been the best friend I could ever wish for. Thank you."

Minho just turns to Thomas.
"So it's planned,we're escaping this place tonight. Us and anyone else who warns to come."

"Agreed." We all say in unison.

We round up everyone who wants to come. But quite a lot want to stay behind,I don't understand why. So we gather outside the main entrance to the Maze. Minho and Thomas stand in front,we all look up to them.

"Any advice?" I ask Minho,squeezing his hand.
"Be careful. Don't die."

Newt scoffs.

"Great,we're all bloody inspired."
