Chapter 5

Two days had come and gone. We talked about what we would do, splitting up into teams. I or Red Flame, would go with Loki, Percy, and Annabeth, to Cleo's tomb. Dad and Thor would go to New York to retrieve the prism. I hid away somewhere between lost and completely gone. And no one knew. They thought I was gone. I wasn't Loki's Ella anymore. And that hurt him, but he put his own feelings aside so that we could save the world again. And it wasn't going to be easy. We had it worst. We had to go through trials, and then Flame had to take in her power just to pass the last trial. To see if she would keep it. And she would not. She didn't like my power, she definitely would not like Cleo's. Anna and mom would stay with Hades in the science lab here in the mansion. And Heimdall? Well he decided to sit on the outside of the cliffs, watching. He would see everything.

We were all in the lab, waiting for Thor to give us the okay. But it never came. He was not even present at this time. Heimdall had a meeting with him alone. But Loki was meeting with Hades. Something about if things got bad, get me out of there, but I was no longer me, so really did it matter? It didn't matter to the real me. Loki traded me for her. But I know he did it for me. I got angry, I felt guilty, and this was my fault. And until I healed from that, I was a danger to everyone including myself.

"Okay, who is ready to try and save the world," Thor said pausing as he entered the room, "Again."

"Brother, It was not us who saved it last, it was," Loki stopped himself. He couldn't say my name. Flame bowed her head.

"It was Gabby and me," She spoke. Loki nodded and took a deep breath. He still loved me, so much. Thor cleared his throat.

"Right, so, Gabby is still behind the scene then?" He asked. Flame nods to him. Thor sighs and looks at Hades. He shrugs his shoulders. I hated being able to see, but not say anything. What would I even say?

"She can still hear and see, but she chooses to hide behind me, I am sorry to all of you," Flame says. Great now they know I am still here watching and hearing.

"No matter, we have a world to save, and then we can save Gabrielle," Flame says. Loki clears his throat and looks at Thor.

"Okay, brother, are you ready," He asks Thor. Thor joins his brothers side. He grabs him in a brotherly hug. It was sweet, and you didn't see it very often.

"Good luck brother," Thor says. Loki grins and steps away.

Hades steps to the front of flame. As a father, he was afraid for me, his daughter. And I understood. And he hugged her, or me. She did hug him back though. Her flaming red hair was so bright and eyes as red as blood. But she was no longer wanting to be cocky or fight, she wanted to protect me. Like she tried doing before, but I broke out, and this time I would have to sit back and heal. Mom and dad both hugged her too. She didn't push them away either. And then Anna joined in, but then she waited in front of me. Her sister. I was much like Loki, I had been adopted, not for bad reasons, but to save the world. And flame seen that too, looking at Anna. And she could have said something about that, but she didn't.

"I love you Gabby, I know you hear me," She said. Flame grins and places a hand on her cheek.

"She loves you, Queen Anna," She said. So we are formal now? Okay, sure. Flame hugged her alone. She felt what I felt, so she knew what love was. But she never told Loki. She didn't want anyone but me to know that she was me, but had her own persona.

"Okay, let's go save the world Gabrielle," Flame says stepping back. Loki looked at her confused. He knew she was talking to me. But if I weren't speaking why would she speak to me? And I knew that's what he was wandering.
