Chapter 12

We entered the mansion. Lilly was stunned by the view in front of her. She was so excited. Her face lit up, and it was amazing. This was the kind of Joy she deserved. She looked around, taking it all in. A servant stepped in front of us. She looked at me. I told her to go ahead, tell him what she wanted. She only said that she wanted tea. And he left to get her some. Percy spotted me, and ran to me, spotting Lilly. He smiled at her, and she smiled at him. It was as if she had a favorite person in this castle.

            "Hi, I'm Percy, you must be Lilly, Annabeth told be you may be coming, I'm so happy you're here," He said, holding his hand out, she took his hand. He kissed the back of her hand. She smiled at him. He bowed.

            "You're a princess now, I bow to you," He says, she laughed.

            "Please, I am a normal kid, you don't have to bow," She said. I smiled at her. He nodded to her. Looks like she made a friend, and he made one too. They seemed to get along just fine. Annabeth caught up with us, spotting Lilly. She smiled too. And she joined us.

            "Hi, Lilly, I'm Annabeth, but you can call be Aunt Beth, I'm so happy you agreed to live with us," She said. Lilly smiled at her and gave her a hug. Annabeth hugged her too. At least she had someone I could trust to keep an eye on her if needed. And then Thor and Anna also caught up with us.

            "Gabby, is this Lilly," Anna asked. She looked at Anna, and she bowed to her. Anna held her heart. Thor chuckled but I knew he wasn't to happy. He couldn't do anything about it.

            "Please, I should bow to you princess Lilly, I'm Aunt Anna, I'm happy you have joined us, and this hunk beside me is Uncle Thor," She said pointing to him. Lilly acted shy with him. She was not scared, but he was buff. He smiled at her, bending to her level.

            "Don't worry Lilly, I may be big, but I'm soft, and you will make a beautiful queen someday, but for now, I have a crown with your name on it, princess Lilly," He said. Maybe he would warm up to her. It seems as though she's enchanted their hearts.

            "THOR, ANNA, ANYONE," We heard screams coming from the lab. Lilly looked at me, and I nod to her, I looked at Annabeth and Percy, They knew what I was thinking. Trouble in the lab, they've found something. Annabeth and I took Lilly's hands, and we paced quickly to the lab.

            The scene was, horrific. It was like something out of a 'Mentally ill' Magazine. Or worse. Dad was laying on the floor, making what looked like snow angels, with nothing. Hades was standing with Loki, and mom. Hades spots us, and he runs to our side. Loki is talking to mom, about dad's new, persona. It was as if something made him cooky. He was not himself. Hades steps in front of Lilly, and looks down, she looks up at him, and he gives her a grin, and looks at me in confusion.

            "This is Lilly, she is my new, child, I've took her in, she was orphaned, and now she isn't," I said, He nods.

            "I already know, Hi, Lilly, I'm one of your grandparents, the other two are over there, the other grandfather is laying on the floor, it's nice to meet you," He said, she nods and shakes his hand. He chuckles. Loki spots us. He smiles, and excuses himself from mom. He walked over to us, Annabeth helped Hades pick dad up.

            "Lilly, I heard you were coming, I am so happy to meet you, I guess I'm your second guardian, so I'm honored, to have you living with us," He said. She ran to him, and gave him a hug. Everyone had noticed, even Thor, who looked confused. Maybe he thought kids didn't like him, or they were scared of him. He hugged back, patting her head lightly.

            "Hi, I'm glad you want me here, I was afraid you wouldn't accept me like Gabby," She said. She was so smart for an eight year old. He looked at me, and the look he gave told me he was so sorry for saying anything bad against children. Even if he lied to me about children, he was still a good person now, through and through.
