Are they hero's? (Ben 10 and Jl/YJ crossover)

The Return of the Batmobile

    The group was on top of the building, in their original form, waiting for one of the hero's to show up. They were hiding in the shadows whispering among each other waiting.

    "We really need to get our priories straight, I mean how long can we pretend to be three different people?" Gwen asked in a quiet voice

    "Gwen has a point, we can't be three people at once, we're going to have to come clean soon." Ben whispered

    "Yea, but the real us are criminals in the hero's eyes." Kevin reminded them

    "Then we abandoned the hero version and the false us, we can move somewhere else, away from where the hero's are and start new." Ben whispered

    "Start a new?" Kevin asked quickly

     "Yea, go to actual high school with our real faces, and maybe a fake name, and the hero's won't know where we are." Ben continued

    "Hold that thought, someone is coming." Gwen said

   Batman and Robin were walking down the streets, where the bat mobile was stolen. "Bats are you sure, it's here? Why would they keep it here?" Robin asked

     Batman grunts "Yes, I'm sure it's here and I don't know why they would return it."

    The walk into the alleyway and see the bat mobile but no one else. They looked around and decided to search up above on top of the buildings.

  Batman looks around the top of the bank, he searches every nook and cannery. Robin looks around the other buildings but no one was there. Batman got to a corner and saw a piece of paper, all it had on it was their hourglass symbol and the word "sorry."

    Batman and Robin look at the note skeptically. "Sorry? Are they saying sorry for stealing the bat mobile?" Robin asked

    "I have no idea." Batman told Robin

   The group of three quieted down and saw two dark figures walk up to the bat mobile. They recognize one of them as Batman and they guessed the other one was Batman partner Robin. Ben grabbed a piece of paper and drew the hourglass symbol and put sorry on it and they all looked at each other and nodded. They all ran off the building and jumped down the building and got into Kevin's car.

    Kevin drove off away before the hero's catch on that they were there. It was a long silent drive back to their home base. No one said a single word, they didn't know what to say. They drove all the way back to Black Hill in awkward silence.

   As the arrived back to their home base they all sat on the sofa. Ship came up and sat on Ben lap, he stroked Ship, memories of him and Julie came back to him. He knew he wanted nothing to do with Ship and he was Juile's pet but now he wants to keep Ship so he keep his memories of Julie. He's not sure why he has Ship but he doesn't want to know why Ship is with him.

    After a moment of silence Gwen decided to start the conversation. "So, Ben you were talking about starting a new?"

    "Hmm... oh yea, um I could turn into Alien X and get us a new place in a new town and I could turn into one of my smart aliens, get us into a school so we can finish school and we only become hero's when it's an emergency and the hero's aren't there or they need help." Ben explained

    "That could be a good idea, we do need a fresh new start, away from the heros, we can finish school and maybe join a club or something and we can find a way back home." Gwen said cheerfully

    "But where are we going to live?" Kevin asked

    "I don't know, we're going to have to figure it out together." Ben said

     "Well we know Gotham has Batman, Metropolis has Superman, Central City has the Flash, Amnesty Bay has the Aquaman, Coast City has the Green Lantern, Gateway City has Wonder Women." Gwen said

    "Ok, so no where near there." Kevin said

     "How about Camden Maine?" Gwen asked

    "Uh Camden Maine, is a small fishing port, it's a happy place to live, it's known for its gourmet food and their top chefs, and it's a very safe place to live, sounds perfect." Ben said

     "I'm good with it." Kevin said

     "Great, now we just need a background!" Gwen said

     "Background?" Ben and Kevin asked

    "Yes, people are going to think it's weird that people who suddenly show up, just up and leave and then move somewhere else." Gwen said

    "Oh then let's just say, one of our family members are sick and in the hospital and you and I had to leave to take care of her and Kevin is coming along with us." Ben said

   "Huh, I guess that could work." Gwen thought out loud

   "Ok, so what now?" Kevin asked

    "Get some sleep, and then in the morning, pack all of the stuff we're going to need, and I'll go turn into Alien X." Ben said

     Ben picked up Ship and headed to his room, Gwen looked at him worryingly, she sighed and said goodnight to Kevin as he got up and went to his room to sleep.
