Drive and tears

It's 4 in the morning and Gwen and Kevin just fully closed the Mr. Smoothie shop and we're about to head back to their home base. A man came up to them and they recognized him as Jared. They've met him and his family before. "Oh hello there you two." Jared shouted

"Hey Jared! How are you?" Gwen asked

"Hey Jared." Kevin said boringly

"Oh I'm doing good, I see you guys are selling the shop, everything ok?" Jared ask

"Oh uh yea, it's just mine and my brother grandma is getting sick and we have to leave to go take care of her." Gwen explained

"And I'm going with them." Kevin added

"Oh well I hope your grandma other gets better, I wish you luck. Hope to see you guys again." Jared said

"Yeah, you too." Kevin and Gwen said

Kevin and Gwen walked off into the night, saying goodbye to this town they once called home. They've only lived here for a month or two but they already had so many memories there. They walk into the base and sighed. They grabbed some boxes and started to all the stuff that they were going to need in their new home. Ben walked in tiredly. He didn't get any sleep since he had to turn into Alien X to make a new home and he had to pass judgement on old stuff. He helped Gwen and Kevin pack and put the boxes in the car and got in. Kevin and Gwen look behind them and see Ben already fast asleep. They let him sleep since they knew he needed it. Kevin drove off through the silent town saying goodbye to Jared and his family as they watched the sunrise.

It was a 31 hour drive, so they were going to be in the car for quite awhile. Gwen soon fell asleep leaving Kevin alone awake driving. He turned on the radio and listened to some music quietly. He had put Plumbers badge just in case. They all were hopping someone from their own world a plumber was coming to their rescue so they can save their world from Vilgax.  They knew it wouldn't happen but they didn't want to let go of this hope.

     After a couple of hours of driving, Kevin stopped at a gas station and parked so he can catch a quick snooze. He fell asleep for about two hours or so and put gas in his car. Gwen woke up not too long ago and went inside to grab some snacks and drinks. "You better not spill any of that in my car." Kevin said strictly

    "I won't Kevin." Gwen reassured

   They both got in the car and drove off some more. About an hour later Ben woke up wide awake. He stole a drink and some snacks and munched on them. They had about 24 hours left to drive.

      Batman was in the Watchtower looking at the news seeing if any of the criminals have attacked or stolen anything as of the late. It bothered him that they haven't done anything yet, it just meant that they're planning something huge. It also bothered him that he couldn't find out who they are. He's been searching for days and he couldn't get any evidence that they existed, not even a name. It just meant bad news.

     Then with them returning the Bat mobile and that note, it just made him even more confused and that angered him. Not once has he never found someone and he didn't want them to be the once. He had so many questions for them, 'who are they?' 'What did they want?' 'Why were they sorry?' 'What were those creatures that boy could turn into?' 'Why did they steal the bat mobile?' The list goes on and on.
