I woke up and groaned at the annoying and insensitive noise the alarm was making.

Shut up alarm!

Please?

Ok whatever

I threw my pillow at the un co-operating alarm and it landed on the floor and this appeared to make it sound louder and more shrill.

Ugh! I pushed my blanket off me and stood up then used air to throw the pillow back unto the bed.I pressed the stop button on the alarm and checked the time.

Great,it was 5:30 am.

"Whoever did this to me would pay",I said while fuming mentally.

Then I realised that I had been the one to set the alarm at 5:30 am for today.

Now why would I do that to myself or have I become an enemy to myself.I shook my head mentally that's preposterous and ridiculous.

I yawned widely then it hit me.

ERMERGERD,today is friday! Friday of the fair.The fair

I'm supposed to go to with Brad,the school's badass popular.

An image came to mind of Brad wearing an impeccable blue shirt and jeans while I was wearing a paper bag dress and people were pointing at me whispering and jeering.

No! I snapped out of it.No way,Brad would not embarrass me again.

I was even asked to do a solo at the fair by the sheriff.I went to my wardrobe to search for what I was going to wear to school and for the fair.

I looked around frantically.What do I wear today?

Hmm,this blue crepe chain blouse and my black printed slim pants are okay to go with my favourite blue suede lace-up sneakers.

Good,school wear has been chosen.

Now what to wear to the fair,something simple and beautiful.After all,I wouldn't want Brad to think I'm trying to impress him since I am not,right?

Of course not,why would I want to impress him?

I sighed,okay maybe a little.

Now I am arguing with voices in my head.

I eventually chose a sleeveless purple crepe flounce dress that my dad bought and decided to wear it with the prada platform shoe my aunt gave me.

I looked at the table clock.

Oh gush,its 6:00 am and I have missed my chance for a bath and I have to shower.

I quickly showered within 20 minutes.

I blow dried my hair with my powers using hot air and within two minutes,my hair is dry and then I put it in a ponytail.

I then put on my clothes and went downstairs,by the time I got downstairs,it was 6:45 am.After a light breakfast,I gave my father and aunt a peck.

"Don't forget that tomorrow is an eclipse",my aunt said.

"Sure",I said as I walked out of the house.

You see,eclipses occur only on one day in an entire year.it is a day when witches are extremely powerful.it is more like an anniversary of the day a witch's power is activated.

I met emily at the pint and as we walked to school,we started to talk about the eclipse.

"So tomorrow is an eclipse,whose house are we staying,yours or mine",I asked.
