Newt x Fem!Reader - Short
Warnings; Glader slang, slight language, it's awful and very short, I started it and forgot how to finish it
"They've escaped the maze, their being transported here now. Make sure the doctors and nurses are ready."

Apparently Group A has finally escape their maze. That means I can meet A5 after years of watching him in that godawful maze. Well his name is Newt, but all the people that work here think they are nothing more than subjects. I don't want to work here, I never have done. What Wicked didn't know was that I was going to talk to Group A and help them escape this hell hole. Right now I'm setting up a small work station so everything is ready for when the 'Gladers' arrive. The doors open and a bunch of boys and one girl walk through. As the guards hand out each kid, I hope that I get Newt.
"Miss Paige."
That's why I work here. Ava Paige is my mom and she's adamant that this is the right thing to do. Although I disagree with how she's doing it, I get why she's doing it. I look at the guard and see which 'subject' I have. It's Newt. He sits on the chair in the middle of the station and I walk over to him. There's a cut on near his eye so I decide I should clean that up and make sure it's not infected before I do anything else. I grab the first aid kit, take out a cotton ball and put some cream on it. Turning to Newt, I tell him it might sting and he looks at me unsurely but lets me get closer anyway. He winces and glares at me but doesn't stop me. I decide that I should probably at least try to get him to trust me, so I lean in to talk to him without it seeming suspicious. "This place isn't what you think it is,"
