*Stacey's POV*
I woke up by the light blinding me through Dylan's unopened curtains. Yes, that's right, I actually remember whose bedroom I'm in this time. Dylan's arm was wrapped around my waist, keeping me caged against his chest, not that I'm complaining. I gently lifted his arm off of me, trying my best not to wake him up. It failed though, because as soon as I managed to get his arm off of me, he opened his eyes a little a smiled cheesily at me.
"Good Morning sunshine." His goofy grin made me smile back at him.
"Morning Lover Boy!" I got out the bed at went to the bathroom to brush my hair. When I came back Dylan was already gone, so I made my way into the living room to find him sitting on one couch, and Thomas and Lucy sitting on the other.
"Hey Stace." Lucy smiled when she saw me come in and signalled for me to come and join them, so I did.
"Hey, whats going on?" I smiled back at her and sat down next to Dylan.
"I felt like I owe them an explanation as to what happened last night."
"Luce, you dont have to do that."
"I know.. But I want to." Lucy took a deep breath as we all looked at her.
"That guy you saw last night was my ex-boyfriend, Gareth. We didnt end on very good terms. It ended up with me in hospital. Gareth abused me. At first we were a great couple! We loved doing things together. But I started to notice his mood changing after a few months. He would get so angry over the slightest things. Like me not doing the dishes, or talking to other boys, or hanging out with Stacey." She looked at me with sorrow filled eyes and then carried on, "He started to hit me. At first I was able to cover it up with makeup. But they got more frequent. There was more I had to try and cover up. He had convinced me that he was the way he was because of me. Said if I would just do as I was told, none of it would happen. One night, the worst night, he came over to my house after he had finished work. My parents were away for the weekend so I had invited him round to keep me company. At first everything was fine. We were watching a movie when my phone rang. The I.D said Stacey so I reached over to the coffee table to grab it when he grabbed me by my hair and pulled me back. I told him it was only Stacey but he didnt care. He threw my down on the floor and hit me. Over and over and over. The next thing I knew, I was in hospital. Stacey was sitting on the chair next to my bed, holding my hand. The doctor came in 5 minutes after I woke up, telling me what had happened. He told me what injuries I had sustained and then asked me what I remembered. When I was done he exchanged a look with Stacey and then left. Stacey told me that as well as hitting me, he also raped me."
Lucy couldnt continue. She just broke down. I didnt realise I had been crying until Dylan put his arm around me. No one said anything. We just listened to Lucy's sobs.
"That's why she was so scared last night. Why we both were scared last night." I whispered.
Thomas didnt move, he was frozen. He came back to his senses soon enough and wrapped his arms around Lucy, rocking her back and forth. Thomas and Dylan exchanged glances. And they werent exactly happy glances. Oh no. They were full of rage and disgust. I just hope they dont do anything they're going to regret.
