Chapter 5: Tom and the Bond of Flame

Tom's pov

"Whoa what happened where is everyone at" tom said as he looked around at his surroundings." seems like I'm in some volcanic place but weird why a place like this" he said as he looked around. "Hmph guess ill go look for the others then". as tom walked around he noticed that the area around him started getting hotter. "Ah...why is it getting hotter in he-" as he said that he was struck in the side by fiery globe he noticed that the side he was hit was badly burned. "Ah shit this hurts i gotta get away before this thing can do anymore damage!". As tom started running away he noticed that there was more of them coming and at a growing amount. "shit this is not going good i need to lose them fast". as he kept on running he wasn't paying attention when he suddenly ran into a wall. "Ow damn it all...*groans* that really fucking hurt" he said as the swarm of monsters got closer. " uh-oh...this isn't going well for me i need a weapon to fight them wait there's a stick on the ground i can use that!" he grabbed the stick and swung it at the globes but it didn't work they just burned the stick completely."Damn I've got no weapon and no where to run I'm screwed!". "No your not just hold out your hand!". "Huh who's there?". "There's no time for questions just do it!!". "OK but this better work" he says as he holds out his hand. "There's nothing happening i just look Stu-WHAT THE!!!".Suddenly out of nowhere a weird blade formed in his hand. "whoa what is this". "Its a keybalde its something that can protect you from these monsters now go!". "Okay! here goes nothing!!" as tom says that his eyes glow a dark red forming flames around his whole body. "Well this is unexpected from this but i like this power well then monsters come at me!!!". As he said that the heartless started attacking all around from all around he swung and swung but the swarm didn't seem to stop finally he had enough. "This is annoying i have to end this soon or ill lose energy" as he said that he then said. "Let the sun burn all that oppose me MARAGIDYNE!!!". As he said that a big ball of fire engulfed the swarm destroying them completely. "Whew that was close but anyways who are you and what do you want!"."Well since you asked so "nicely" ill tell you my name is surt a powerful fire user but you can call me a companion on your journey i can help you out a lot". "Oh okay then so why did i just summon a keyblade a second ago?". "That's because it manifested from your heart this weapon is made from your true feelings just like m-...nothing never mind". "Okay then whatever but thanks for the help anyways hey can you help me find my friends!". "Okay lets look for them then". "Hey before we go i wanna ask what powers can i learn and what were those things that attacked me?". "You can mostly use fire abilities and also an dual attack with someone you'll meet later on and those things you battled they are called heartless they are monsters that are created when a person loses their heart to the darkness". "Well we will just have to beat them all right lets go!".
