Dear Father,
Due to unforeseen circumstances I am now looking at you in a new light. I lied to you. I saw mother after kings cross and she explained- well she told me things I'm not entirely happy about. How could you be so cruel? So selfish?
You destroyed our family which was perfectly functional as it was, besides from your fight with Elijah. I truly believed mother and you were soulmates. What happened to those Hogwarts stories you would tell me in front of the fire? You two made me believe in true love, you two are what inspired me to put my all into my own relationships. But now I can't say I'm not disappointed and hurt for mother.
I've now come to realise that you didn't deserve her. She's a fine woman. A woman with a heart of gold and puts everyone above herself. She deserves better than a man who cheats on her with not only a death eater but his own secretary as well. Please don't try to deny it, I saw it with my own eyes 'Auror Scott'.
Now for the reason I'm writing this letter. It's not to slate you. It's not to tell you how much of a horrible person you are. No. I was raised to listen to both sides of a story and make the best discussion I can with the information I was given. I was taught to always look for the good in people, to treat everyone with kindness and to never be selfish. So this is your chance to explain yourself. To tell me why you did what you did. I want answers father and if you are not willing to give them to me I'll have to believe that mother's side of the story is the whole side.
I expect a letter back by the end of the week with an explanation and an apology of some sort. You not only lied to me but you hurt me by hurting my mum. Elijah does not know what is going on but I fear I can only keep it from him for so long. He deserves to know. It is his family as well. Even though you didn't try to reconnect with him after your spat last June.
