"Did he just tell you he loved you?" James asked from where he leaned against the door frame. His lean figure didn't seem tense and his tone of voice didn't seem to give away he was angry. I shrugged my shoulders sheepishly and instead of replying I simply rolled my eyes as I leaned back into the plush couch.

Oh here we go he's either gonna be a arsehole about this or a drama queen

"Oh please you and I both know it's a platonic love. Like the one I have for him, Sirius and Peter" I scoffed and let me eyes wander from the boy in the doorway to the door where Remus' lanky from had disappeared through.

I wonder if he had reached Sirius yet

"Does he love him back?" James' question caught me off guard and I quickly turned my attention back to him.

What?

"Beg your pardon?" I muttered in confusion. With a gentle sigh James pushed himself off of the doorway and strolled over to the couch.

"Padfoot. Does pads love moons back?" I could see the sincerity in his eyes. He wasn't angry. He wasn't disgusted, in fact he just seemed to be concerned for the welfare of both his friends.

How did he know?

With a gentle smile I nodded my head. "Yeah. He does. He actually figured that out long before bloody Remus did" I snorted and looked at James as he crouched down in front of me and grasped my hands in his own.

"I'm not angry at the bloke for being in love with you. Merlin I don't bloody blame him. I am! And it's the best feeling I've ever know. Being in love with you Fawn is like-" James paused for a second, his brown eyes searching mine for something I hoped he found.
