A yawn.

Two yawns.

Eyes flutter open.

And two girls stare at each other.

At first calmly, they were still half asleep. But that did not last long. Because suddenly the wave of realisation crashed over them like a unpredictable tsunami.

The whole morning was quiet, they literally didn't exchange a single word.

They put their clothes on, glances were shot there and there, hair was made, stuff was packed.

Down in the kitchen, Catra silently waited for some food since Adora seemed to cook something for the two.

They ate. It was simple eggs with bread.

They still just shot glances, didn't dare to let their eyes meet again.

At like, 1pm, Catra had enough.

They both were on the couch, watching some random show none of them really paid attention to.

Catra suddenly grabbed the remote, shut the TV off and scooted to Adora. She legit straddled her lap.

"We can't stay silent forever." She said.

The blonde's cheeks flushed and she looked away, but the brunette had none of it, softly grabbing her by her chin and tilting her head towards her.

"Adora." She said firmly.

No response.

"Adora!"

No response.

Okay then, then the hard way. Catra leaned in and pressed her lips against hers, just kissing her.

And after a moment Adora kissed back.

And they kissed again.. and again and again. It turned into soft making out.

After 10 minutes the brunette stopped. "Got something to say?"

"....You're pretty."

Okay that caught her off guard. Catra blushed and started laughing. "You're such an idiot."

"Mhmm."

"And stupid."

"Ouch."

"But good looking."

"Heh."

"And ridiculously smug when you're drunk."

"Sorry."

"Do you even remember anything from yesterday?"

"No. Total black out. That was my first time drinking more, yet alone anything else than a simple glass of wine."

"How aren't you hungover."

"I love you." [Not continuing, will rewrite.]Where stories live. Discover now
