Ashton was standing in the kitchen making some scrambled eggs and some coffee for everyone when Willow and Zackary had woken up. He heard someone walking down the stairs and the person came inside the kitchen with a groan.
"Do you have any coffee ready?" Zackary asked with a yawn.
Ashton nodded before handing him a cup of coffee. Zackary took a hold of the cup and walked over to the fridge to put some milk in the coffee.
"Is Willow awake yet?" Ashton asked looking behind him at Zackary before looking down at the eggs again.
"No. If you only saw how much she drank yesterday." Zackary remarked with a shake of his head before they heard Willow coming down the stairs.
"Never let me drink that much ever again" Willow mumbled when she walked into the kitchen.
Ashton and Zackary chuckled when she took her cup of coffee from Ashton and also a plate of scrambled eggs which he also gave to Zackary.
"When does your mom want you home Willow?" Zackary asked with a mouth full of eggs.
"That's disgusting" Willow said with a disgusted face as she looked at Zackary. "Probably after breakfast. I have to babysit Henry all weekend."
"I can drop you off after breakfast. " Zackary said after he swallowed his eggs. Willow nodded before she started to eat her eggs and Ashton cleaned up in the kitchen.
"Ash, when are you dad coming home?" Willow asked.
"I haven't talked to him in about a week but he will probably call me later like he usually does, and I will probably know later." Ashton answered, putting away the pan he used for the eggs.
The three of them continued to talk and relax before Zackary and Willow needed to go home to their families. After they had left Ashton cleaned up in the kitchen before locking the door and walked up the stairs to his room. He walked through his room to the bathroom where he was going to take a shower and brush his teeth.
He jumped out from the shower and tied a towel around his waist before he walked into his room. Right as he walked in he heard his phone ringing from his bed making him walk over to his phone and see his dad calling him.
"Hi dad" Ashton said as he picked up the call and took a seat on the side of the bed.
"Hi son, what are you doing?" his dad asked as Ashton could hear him rustle through his papers.
"I just got out of the shower. Zack and Willow were just here." Ashton answered with a little yawn.
"Late night?" His dad asked.
"Yeah, Willow dragged Zack and I to a party last night" Ashton said with a chuckle, making his dad also chuckle.
"That girl got you two rapped around her finger" His dad said with a laugh.
"That's very true." Ashton replied.
"How are they?" His dad asked.
"Well Willow got a new sibling a couple weeks ago. And Zack is the same, still focused on school" Ashton answered his dad.
The two of them continued to talk for a couple hours before his dad had to go because he had a meeting in the afternoon that he needed to get ready for. Later that evening Connor came over to start working on their project but they didn't get a lot done because they were mostly laughing and getting to know each other. So in a couple of ways they were working on their project because they were getting to know each other and how they were as persons.
