The friend group had taken the weekend off from parties to focus on their school assignments that some of them were behind on, mostly Willow because she didn't really care to do them but Zackary and Ashton always made her when they hung out together, like at this moment they were sitting in the school library and were doing their assignments for history.
"Why do we have to do this assignment?" Willow questioned with a groan as she slammed her book closed and was shushed by the librarian.
"Because it's good to know what has happened in the world" Zackary nodded before going back to reading his book that he had in front of him.
"I'm not complaining because I'd rather do this than some presentation" Ashton muttered while writing something down on his computer.
"This is so boring, why do I want to know about some old men that all started war with each other" Willow remarked.
"Well, it's good to know about all the idiots in the world because we can probably stop them now, if they want to start a war" Ashton said as he wrote on his computer not seeing Connor and some of his friends walking up behind him.
Connor put his hand on Ashton's shoulder making him jump frightened before he turned around to yell at the person who touched him before he saw that it was Connor with a big smile on his face.
"Connor, you fucking bastard" Ashton swore before he laughed.
"Ash, I didn't know you were that easy to scare, now I know what I'm going everytime I see you" Connor remarked with a chuckle.
"Did you want something?" Ashton asked while looking back at Willow and Zackary and seeing them looking at the two of them confused before he turned back to look at Connor who nodded.
"I was thinking about the project and thought that we could do it at my house today because we were at your house last time. And my parents also wanted to meet you" Connor answered, looking at Ashton with a smile.
"Sure, I can follow you in my car after school," Ashton replied with a nod.
"Well I thought I could ride with you because Will needed the car after school, if that 's okay with you?" Connor asked.
"That works for me,"Ashton answered.
"Well, see you at the parking lot after school" Connor said before he and his friends left the library.
"When did you two become so close?" Willow asked as all of them were packing up their things because the bell had rung, signaling that it was time for lunch. All of them had a pretty long lunch break because their class was canceled, because their teacher was sick and they couldn't find anyone to fill in for them.
"Well we worked on the project a lot over the weekend, so we got to know each other pretty well, and we apparently like a lot of the same things," Ashton answered as they walked over to his locker to put in their things before they walked to the cafeteria.
"Does anyone know what lunch is today?" Zackary asked while they walked through the doors to the cafeteria.
"I think it was pasta and some meat but also pizza. But the pizza is probably gone by now. "Ashton replied.
"Ash, go grab a table. I will grab some food for you" Willow said before she and Zackary moved towards the lunch line and Ashton moved towards their usual table near a corner.
They liked sitting further away from everyone because it was more quiet and they could talk to each other normally and not scream at each other. Willow and Zackary came back with their food and all of them started eating while they guys were also listening to Willow who was talking about the latest gossip in school.
"Did you guys hear about Connor's older brother?" Willow asked.
"Older brother?" Zackary asked while chewing his rice that he found in the line.
"Yes, Ryder. Zack, you have lived here your entire life and you know nothing" Willow said while shaking her head.
"I don't really have the same intrest as you to gossip all the fucking time" Zackary grumbled.
"Don't fight. What about Ryder?" Ashton asked, already tired of their arguments that would only escalate if he didn't stop them.
"Well you know Amy, she heard that from Jasmin that Ryder was at the party last weekend. And he was apparently making out with a younger guy" Willow said with a quiet voice.
"Don't believe everything you hear Willow" Zackary remarked.
"Yeah, especially don't believe something that isn't true" Ashton said before he started chewing his meet, but quickly spit it out.
"That's disgusting Ash" Willow said looking at him with a disgusted face. "And how do you know that it isn't real?"
"Well because I talked to him when he got there and when he left" Ashton answered before pushing the plate of food away from him.
"What?! Was he hot? What did he say? What did you do?" Willow questioned fast, looking at him with wide eyes.
"First of all, calm down. I called him to help because his younger brother William was really drunk and Connor said that I should call him so I did. Nothing else happens after that, we talked and then he left with William, end of story" Ashton answered.
"You could have gotten me," Willow grumbled.
"You were totally wasted Willow" Ashton remarked.
They started moving away from the cafeteria when the bell rang. They walked over to Ashton's locker again to take their things and all of them hurried back to the library to continue studying before the next lesson started for all of them.
