She gasped loudly. The air she sucked entered her mouth and rushed to her lungs. She coughed repeatedly. Her throat and chest hurt. She can't help but cry. It was scary. She thought she was going to die. She thought she was prepared; she thought she could really die peacefully. But until the very last minute, even when she decided to accept her death, she silently prayed and manifested to be saved.

"Fuck!" The Emperor cursed loudly. "Damn it."

She cried heavily. "I'm sorry, your majesty..." She was barely gripping his arms, scared she was going to fall off the boat and drown again.

The Emperor grabbed her hair and turned her around to face him. "Why do you always put me into trouble? Tell me, servant. What do you want? What is your plan?"

She blinked her eyes, and her tears fell like rushing rivers. "I have no plans at all."

The Emperor gritted his teeth and yanked her harshly, making her shriek in pain. "Is this one of your plans too? To drown me with you?"

She repeatedly denied, "I don't—" He got it all wrong. She has no plans to drown him with her at all. Besides, she was ready to die alone.

The Emperor pushed her away. "Fuck it! I should have let you drown yourself, huh? Why did I even save you?"

Her heart thumped loudly in confusion between pain and sadness. That was the first time someone saved her like that, and her savior regretted saving her. "Your majesty..."

"Leave me alone, fuck it!" The Emperor cursed, turned his back on her, and slowly walked away. The Emperor looked back once again to give her a deadly stare. "Tsk!"

Bellona started shivering badly. She covered her body and bowed respectfully to him despite his harsh treatment. I will leave immediately."

The Emperor pointed out the way. "Leave and don't ever appear in my eyes again! Leave, servant! Before I get rid of you myself!"

That was more than enough for Bellona to cry again as she slowly left the place. Serving the Emperor is truly painful. It's slowly killing her. He's a total red flag, and he'll probably be the death of her.

The next morning came. The most anticipated event of the month has finally come. It's the Emperor's match! Everyone in the empire is agitated for the duel. They're all hoping and praying for his victory. The empire itself is anticipating his triumph. The knights and the commander have been quiet for a long time now, probably looking forward to the match. While the Emperor is just sitting on his seat, sipping tea, holding nothing but a cup.

The Emperor of the Niariom Empire has arrived at Serene Arena, their chosen battle area. He brought with him his knights and a lot of his supporters. He almost invited his entire family. The crowd was full of Niariom's people cheering for their own Emperor. While the Vassily emperor, who looks uninterested, brought nothing but his cup of tea. He did not invite anyone; a few of his subjects just came on their own accord to show him support.

There's a broadcaster in the town center of the Vassily Empire to announce the current event of the match. The Emperor decided to keep his people who couldn't keep up with the events through the broadcast updated. Aside from that, his family came to watch his battle. Probably not to support him but to see him fight. Yes, the Grand Emperor and the Emperor of the North; Emperor Maximus, came to watch the battle. Emperor Massimo and Emperor Magnus arrived late. They have their own priorities now, but they still managed to come just to watch him kill someone.
