Where is he? He promised to meet me by the entrance thirty minutes so we would have a fair chance at good seats. He knows I'm a wreck and needs his support, I don't dare go to the game alone and he happily offered to be my support system this day and with the season going this good for the boys the interest in their games is huge.

I would like to think that the interest also has something to do with a certain someone doing an amazing job with their PR but I know the boys are the ones doing all the hard work, I just make it look good.

But still, that doesn't explain why Tyreek isn't here yet. I send him a quick text explaining where to find me inside and then abandon my spot and head in.

The team is in full warm up mode as the audience that has already arrived chit chat everywhere, probably really excited for the game. If we keep this up we are heading to nationals and the boys can remedy last year's loss.

Where the hell is he?! I look around thinking that I may have missed him but then I laugh at myself.

Miss Tyreek? He is like The Statue of Liberty, proudly standing out in the crowd since he is a few feet taller than almost everyone.

I guess that's what probably made him so good at his sport. Basketball players need to be tall to be able to compete in the big league and he is no doubt heading that way.

I'm starting to suspect he stood me up when he doesn't answer my call and I start to accept my faith as a hand lands on my back and pulls me from my thoughts.

"Hey Olivia.." Mariam takes me by surprise by saying behind me. I turn around and look at her in confusion.

"Ella doesn't know I'm talking to you" she explains.

"Oh.." my face falls at her words. I was hoping this was a first step back to normal.

"I'm sick of this, it's ridiculous to be honest"

"I really am sorry and didn't mean to hurt anyone" I say to her. It's important for me that she knows and believes me.

"I know and I believe you and on some level I know Ella does too but she is being so stubborn right now".

I won't disagree with her on that point.

"I get that Dax is hurt but Ella needs to stop being so dramatic over everything, this is stuff that happens in my books, not in real life for goodness sake" she says in a tired voice and I am so happy at her words. They are the confirmation I need to know that I still have Mariam by my side in this mess.

"This is silly, why are we being so dramatic, why don't you come and sit with us!" She says

"Are you sure? I don't want to make Ella more angry" I ask her because I really don't want to make things worse than it already is.

"Nah! She will have to accept it" my face breaks out in a nervous smile but I have faith in Mariam, she wouldn't knowingly make things worse.

"Olivia! There you are..!" Tyreek comes jogging towards me, standing out in the crowd. Once he reaches us he stops and breaths heavy as he speaks.

"Damn woman, don't be so hard to find! That's not a way to thank someone for getting your favorite snack" I look at him not understanding, I'm standing out in the open and why is he breathing so hard for being in such good shape?!

"Excuse me, and you are?" Mariam asks looking at Tyreek like she wants to kick his balls for interrupting our moment.

"He's jus-"

"I'm her date, and who are you?" He says back to her and I roll my eyes at his use of the term 'date', it's not like we are on an actual one.

"Unbelievable" she says under her breath and turns her heel. It all happens so fast that I hardly realize that she is leaving me here.
