The atmosphere is over the top and the boys and I are pumped as we are leaving the bus towards the locker room. We are on our first away game for the season and we are really enjoying being back in full competition mode.

"Mad Dax my man!" Dom shouts to me over all the noise in the locker room. He is sitting with Mac and Sugar as usual, the three amigos.

"Mad Dax?" I call back to him questionably. It was a long time since I heard that name and I had hopes that everyone would have forgotten about it over the summer. It is unfortunately born from stupid mistakes that I would rather forget.

"Yeah man! You have been killing it at practice dude! If you can pull it off out there we are taking this home with us easily" it feels really good to hear that, I have been busting my ass at practice and it feels good that someone else than coach has noticed and if that is what they have in mind when calling me that I am all for it.

I worked really hard over the summer both mentally and physically to improve my game. That simple and honest comment from Dom makes all that pain worth it.

"Oh did you see that sprint last game? He was an absolute maniac!!" Willis, our backup QB, says from the side. Even Mac, our captain, rises from his seat and starts shouting 'Mad Dax' and everyone jumps in and follows his lead.

"Let's kick some ass!" I shout out and everyone cheers as we go back to get our equipment in order. The spirit is as good as it gets once we are done and we all get up to enter the field to get the game started but first coach is saying a few words.

"We are going to strike hard, play fair and most importantly.." he leaves the word to us as we all shout "dominate the game" and he is happy with our response. This is the usual pep-talk we get right before the start for a morale booster. I let my eyes wander over the room and that's when I notice her standing in the corner with her camera held high.

She truly is beautiful, all focused and doing what she loves. It is evident in her eyes that this is the passion in her life, even during that disastrous meeting last week in the library she spoke with such conviction and passion explaining my tasks. She really is mesmerizing to watch, focused and working things out in her head. Her black hair is in a high ponytail but it still reaches far down her back. I can't really see her eyes behind the camera but I will never forget that deep green color that when you look into them it feels like they can see your bare soul.

Oh I really need to snap out of this, she clearly hates me so I have no chance there, I screwed up too bad. If she only would let me explain myself and tell her that I am sorry maybe she can give me a chance. I know I acted like shit to her and I have to apologize to her. Ever since that party I have felt awful about it and I know I have to make it right again. But the problem is that everytime I have her infront of me and look into her eyes it feels like every coherent thought leaves my brain.

Suddenly her head rises from the camera and her head snaps straight to me, like she knew I was watching. She looks at me with anger in her eyes and I can almost see how her mood changes from happy and in her element to pissed off. She is the kind of person who wears her emotions on the outside, letting everyone know how she feels.

This has to stop, now. I am sick of not manning up and asking her straight out for forgiveness. People start exiting the room and run for the field, the coaching staff exit after that. I look back behind me and see that Olivia exits last and a bit behind everyone else and I see my chance to clear the air with her once and for all.

I stay back a second and let everyone pass by me, giving me high fives on the way out. Once they are all gone it is only Olivia and me left in the hallway. She is staring into her camera, not noticing me coming towards her. I pull her gently by her arm and cage her towards the wall with one arm on either side of her head.
