Quinn loved the time she spent with her grandparents. It was something she always longed for, and she often thought about how different her life would be if she lived with them.
She loved her family back in the UK so much, but they were the only ones out there. With the rest of her family out in America, she felt more at home in a weird way.
As the girl walked off of the plane, she surprisingly didn't have any jet lag, probably because she had managed to sleep the whole flight. Security and actually being allowed into America was all a bore which went by so fast she couldn't recall any of it.
After what didn't feel like incredibly long, Quinn was searching for her grandparents. They said that they would wait in the parking lot, so she slowly made her way over to there.
Lots of things were on the girls mind. From moving out to America possibly to finding her grandparents, it was fair to say her mind was a mess. She couldn't think about anything else though when she saw the soft smiles of her family.
'Nan! Grandad!' she approached them as quick as she could without running, it was a moment she loved, the first time she saw her grandparents every single time she visited. It made her appreciate the small amount of time they shared even more.
'Hey Q!' her grandad hugged her quickly before picking up her luggage and putting it in the back of their car. Her grandparents had never really called her Quinn, and whenever they did it was only ever when they were introducing her to new people.
Quinn felt more excited than usual to go back to her grandparents house, she said it was because her younger siblings wouldn't be there to annoy her, but that wasn't really why.
There was just a comfort to her grandparents place, she loved it incredibly. Staring out of the window, she could only dream of the next month she was spending here.
