Quinn looked into the mirror as she got ready for the day. She would be going to Louis' house to stream on the Dream SMP, and it was fair to say she was nervous. But that wasn't the only reason her nerves were going through the roof.

She had decided moving in with her grandparents. Was it a spontaneous decision at around 3am on a call with her parents? Yes. Did they support her decision? Yes.

It was a weird feeling. A feeling of relief. She didn't want to stay in England any longer. And it was easier for her moving seeing as her grandparents were her other legal guardians. The moving process would take a while, and sorting out schooling also would, but they would sort it out.

But for some reason, she wasn't at all worried about that. She was worried about the stream. And I know it sounds so incredibly stupid when you think about it, a stream compared to moving across the Atlantic, but one was now and the other was the future, and worrying about the future only made the present worse.

'You look nice' her nan stuck her head around the door. She wanted to know why Quinn looked so well put together, seeing as she didn't usually leave the house in a dress.

'Thank you' Quinn hugged her nan. She didn't know why, it was just an instinct she seemed to have, to appreciate the ones who show her any form of kindness or compassion.

'For what?' Her nan didn't understand why she was giving her a hug, not that she was complaining. She had always found that Quinn was an overly affectionate person to people she was close to, holding hands when she needed reassurance or giving people hugs just because she wanted to.

'Being there you know? Not everyone is there for me so I've gotta appreciate the ones which are' Quinn squeezed her slightly, her nan smiling slightly.

'Ok, ok, but you have to tell me why you're all dressed up because I know you aren't just going on a walk looking like that' Truth be told, Quinn hadn't previously asked if she could go, she just knew in her mind that she could so didn't bother making a big deal about it.

'I'm meeting with someone?' Quinn dragged it out a bit, and her nan's jaw dropped. Not because she didn't expect it, she was just shocked that Quinn hadn't been talking about them non-stop, since that's what she usually does.

'I'm proud of you! Boy or girl?' She asked, not that she cared if it was a boy. She was a teenager, and at Quinn's age she was sneaking out, so she was at least happy she always said where she was going truthfully.

'A boy...' Quinn had a slightly awkward look on her face, she thought her nan would tell her she couldn't go. And anyways, if she said no, she would always cancel. In her eyes, it was more important to do what her legal guardians wanted compared to some people on the internet that she didn't really know.

'Ok, I'm not going to ask more, just have a good time' Her nan trusted her enough for this. She knew Quinn was a good enough person to not do anything stupid.

A quick hug, and then her nan left the room and subsequently the house, her and Quinn's grandfather were just going to be going on a small walk.

And as Quinn looked into the mirror and made sure she looked good, a car pulled up the front with a familiar boy in it.
