'I'm not interrupting anything am I?' Louis poked his head around the door, seeing the two women deep in conversation. He didn't want to be rude, he respected people's boundaries and knew that many people didn't want a random boy they barely knew listening in to a conversation.
'No, no, not at all' Flora was always a positive person, something that Quinn really admired. She was an optimistic person, but no way near as positive as Flora. It makes her so loveable as a person, it was as if she was a magnet for anyone to was in her presence.
'So, how are you today Louis?' Flora started a conversation, she could tell that neither of the teenagers were going to try and do anything so she did what she thought was best and just started talking.
'I'm good! My stream went very well last night' Louis had told Flora about how he streamed on multiple occasions, and she loved hearing his progress. She didn't understand completely what he meant, but she was proud of him nonetheless.
'You stream?' Quinn's interest had peaked yet again, she loved watching streams so maybe she could check him out. That could also be something they bond over.
'Yeah, I'm not that big so you probably haven't heard of me' Louis stated as if he hadn't just been added to the Dream SMP. He was rather humble when talking about achievements, and he was rather surprised that Quinn didn't see him any different after saying he streamed. He didn't know why, but his subconscious was just telling him that he should be ashamed for streaming, especially playing Minecraft.
'Oh, you should give me your name, I'll check you out!' Quinn smiled softly at the boy who looked overjoyed to know that she actually seemed to take an interest in his streaming.
In this time Flora had made her way to the back, pleased with herself that she managed to get them both to start talking about a subject they were both passionate about. As Louis typed 'RanbooLive' into twitch, it was like everything clicked in Quinn's mind.
She recognised Louis' voice from somewhere, and that somewhere was Tommy's stream where he and Ranboo burnt down George's mushroom house. But even with this knowledge, her opinion of him didn't change. In her mind he would always be the plant boy who was oddly tall.
'No way' she muttered, she was quite shocked to know that she was currently talking to someone who could easily talk to some of her favourite creators. Louis' mind went into a state of panic, what if she was about to laugh at him for streaming Minecraft? That would be horrible for him to know that he embarrassed himself in front of her by just giving her the knowledge that he streamed Minecraft.
'Is everything alright?' he asked, trying to play it off cool. Convincing himself that everything was going to be ok seemed to be the only thing he could do right now.
'Nothings wrong, I'm just shocked' Quinn started, noticing Louis' questioning face, so she started to elaborate, 'When I went through a hard time they were some of the people that helped me through it, and to know that you play with them is just, wow'
Louis' panic started dying down, noticing how smiley Quinn looked. I mean, who wouldn't be smiling, she knew someone from the Dream SMP!
'I mean, do you play minecraft, I'd love to play with you sometime' Louis spluttered out his thoughts, to which Quinn grinned. Somehow the nerves had ran off and given him some confidence, continuing his sentence by saying 'If you want to give me your number I'll message you when I get home'
It was bold.
And it played off, because Quinn gladly entered her phone number into his contacts, naming herself the flower girl 💐before saying a quick goodbye and leaving the shop.
She took note of the name of the shop for the first ever time, it was simple and sweet, just named 'Petals'. She liked it. She liked Petals. She liked what the future seemed to hold for her.
